Selling the "unicorn" i barely owned.... 2010 Ulysses XB12X #4 according to the VIN of 96 X's made that short year. Very few modifications.... 1) EBR Race ECM installed 2) "jasonb" lowering collar (drops rear 1"... can flat foot at stop lights) Original parts and extras included in the sale.... 1) Stock ECM 2) Stock rear shock collar 3) Brand new in the box drive belt 4) 2010 Service manual and Owners manual Barely over 5000 miles on the clock. I am the second owner of this rare beast. The only thing i have done to this bike is put 500 miles on it and change the fuel sensor. Low fuel light didn't not work when I bought it, previous owner was too busy to get it replaced under warranty... The only possibly bad thing about this bike.... 1) Previous owner took the tank decals off... I have then ready to install 2) Slight discoloration on the rear passenger handles... not sure why but my guess is... previous owner used the Triple Tail Bag on almost every ride he said... I am guessing that the black fabric rubbed some, but i am guessing as I have never used the Triple Tail Bag. This is my second Uly and one I sought out .. I own a 2006 also which tended to get the miles as I had planned to savor this one for a long time... If you want to own one of the truly rare ones, here is your chance. PM me with any questions or concerns. Located in Golden, CO $7250

No XB had a 6 speed. 2006 and later XB's had a better constant mesh transmission (much smoother shifting, but you get a little more on / off throttle play in the drive train). That's a nice uly. |

5 speed as stated (sort of ) above.... Thanks for the help and compliment Reepicheep The EBR race ECM on this is very noticeable compared to the 2006 I also own.... more responsive and powerful. I was torn when I bought this as to whether to keep the "jasonb" collar on as I am tall enough to handle the stock suspension set-up... the biggest difference here is in overall stance, not so much ergonomics while riding.... it doesn't seem to cramp you from peg to bar to seat.... but does lower the stance to make stop lights and stops in general easier. Hence I left it on ... it would be a easy switch back if desired. -pete |

Well, I'm still interested. I just have to get the Vic sold. Question - is the EBR ECM for the stock exhaust or can it be used with a Drummer??? |

Conchop - I tried multiple times to send a response to you but it kept getting kicked back to me. EBR used to offer to reprogram a EBR RACE ECM a second time if you changed your set-up. It is currently set-up for the stock exhaust as it is installed. The stock ECM is included in this sale. If you have a ECMSPY cable, you could reinstall the stock ECM, flash the TPS and ride it while you were getting EBR to reprogram. You would need the ECMSPY to make the exhaust change regardless I believe, but others might know better. Thanks for your interest.... your Victory will sell at, or near your asking price I figure but the BUELLs are so much more fun and soooooooo much more affordable then BMW's ... but i still like the BMW's |

I put 25K miles on an 08 Uly - It was a luv/hate deal - but I have an idea of what it takes to get one perfect. I don't know why the email is not working - I might have an old account listed consolidatedchopper@yahoo.com The Vic will sell, but the market is very soft around here. I use to be a Vic dealer. I like them but I really like the ADV bikes for riding the outback in WV. I've done a lot of dirt roads on baggers and cruisers - but the Uly was a hoot. I went back to big bikes so my wife could ride but she's not riding now. Since its just me, I want another Uly - GS - or KTM's new ADV bike.] Quite anxious to see the new AX - I might end up with one of those. But you do have an interesting bike - it would make a good project for me. The Drummer is just part of the recipe - I'd end up spending a good bit of money on it. If I get the Cross sold, I'll contact you again - see where we're at - If I'm stuck with it - I'll do some more magic with it [ LOL - sometimes I just stare at her - really a good looking platform - Ness did good ] thanks .... |
