Sold my m2 in the spring and regretting it. Found a 2002 x1 for $2000 locally. Here are his mods, 16000miles on it now. it has screaming eagle .536 cams, forcewinder cold air intake, forcewinder race exhause, race ecm, buell ecm spy included E said he just dropped the cams in without any other work. Is this motor a ticking time bomb, worth my attention or should I keep looking. |

Seems like a good price. I don't know the lift off hand on those cams. but if u are handy with wrenches you could check the clearance height of valve springs. Hard to say about the rest of it without seeing it. But if he was smart enough to know how to put cams in and it still runs then it should be worth a good look. |

I believe that the .536 cam is the same one that came stock on the X1. If not, it is not much af an upgrade. Biggest difference you will notice will be the seat, the M2 is pretty comfy compared to the X1 in my opinion. |

Not bad... It may very well be a 'ticking time bomb' but most likely not because of the .536 cams. |

I ran andrews n8s in an otherwise stock motor for 7 years, and ran the hell out of it with no ill effects, the .536 should be fine, i believe koz is correct |

Those are better than the stock cams, almost the same, but the 536 has a more aggressive profile that brings in a tad more hp and torque - a SE product. Definitely a plus, some 1.725 ratio rockers to finish and still you would not need a pushrod change. EZ |
