Hey guys, I decided on a whim without ever sitting on one to buy a Ulysses offline and low and behold when it got here it was too tall for my short 29" inseam. So I'm looking for an XT! Any year, preferably with bags but I understand if you wanted to keep them to use on mine. I'm in Tucson, AZ and would hope to trade someone not too far. Just send me a message and we can work out details though. Not opposed to shipping. The only modifications are a Jardine Exhaust and Tank Bra. Has ~5,900 miles. Would also sell for $6,000. Might want to throw mileage and a few more details on there. Is there a race ECM for the pipe? |

it came with a keychain card from direct link techno research says "race performance - key, Buell VDO-EFI" Single/Multiple reflashes. not sure what to make of that it runs awesome though, drove it around a bit but just not comfortable with the height. definitely convinced I want an XT no questions about it I'll call the local techno research where the bike resided and give them the VIN and get more details then update the post. ECM is under seat, it would say "race use only" on it. |

If height is the only issue, look into swapping forks, shock, and kickstand with a XT. It is not hard to swap and maybe someone wants to make their XT taller. |

Also, the ECM is under the seat. Big black box with two large connectors. |

Yea, I believe any XB front suspension will work, lightning SS rear shock and any front end. I'll buy Uly suspension or trade if I had a regular XB laying around. I think X 08+ is the best suspension ever made by USA companies. unless racing or track days. 06 is soft but perfect for on road cruising, smooth! even beats Harley current touring suspension. I've ridden many bikes so I have some idea |

yea doesn't say race only, but I think it was custom tuned by those guys for the jardine exhaust if I had to guess. I'll call and check monday. I would swap out the suspension components but I think it'd be cheaper to just trade or sell this one to someone stock the way it is than drop like $1200 on converting it to what I want |

well... I know an 08 XT w 13k miles, original owner (I know 08 XT, but same thing mechanically, so X usually holds a little value over XT) went for $4k in Ohio, it was a very good deal with bags and all. I missed it but I considered going from MD to OH for that deal. I see 2008+ X for 4500-6500 usually. but I've bought 2x 2006 under $4k with full bags, one even came with gps, race pipe and extra seat. kept parts & sold one with 25k miles for $4400. You Just have to play the waiting game or price it so people cant refuse. I bought all 3 without even test riding (paid and trailered away!) so you aren't the only one. |

Wow! if I was local, I'd trade a XT for a X in a heartbeat! (he said he understands if you keep your bags) Bump for sweet deal. |
