Ok. I just took my 2001 my cyclone to a shop because i couldn't figure this out. They couldn't figure it out either and gave my bike back to me in non working order.

The engine turns off at low idle. The only way to get it to start back up is to turn off the ignition switch and then turn it back on. The bike starts up again but if you don't rev it, it will die again.

The shop checked tilt sensor, kickstand sensor, ignition coil, and carb.

The instrument panel also flickers when trying to start the bike. I'm thinking there must be a bad wire somewhere? Any ideas where? I can't believe I stumped a bike mechanic.

sounds like bad ignition switch maybe, they are know to have the wires break inside.

I believe they checked that. Are those wires accessible?

Here is a list from the mechanic of what they looked into
cam sensor
bank angle sensor
temp sensor
coil
ignition switch
kickstand switch
clutch switch

Check your grounds, all of them.
The motor is rubber mounted so there should be a frame to motor earth strap. iirc it's under the oil tank.

A good test of the ign switch is if you can turn it on with any old tube key or a bic pen, they're not known to be the longest lasting of items, to put it mildly.

I seem to remember reading that the switch is the same as most harleys of the same year. Probably something in the KV about it.

Just sounds like a stopped up pilot circuit to me. Did he take the carb. apart? How low can you go before it starts to die?

It could also be an extremely bad intake leak that will start but not enough air flowing to draw the fuel into the carb. As long as your in there just rebuild the carb. If you rev it you are using the accel pump to get fuel to the engine.

First, define "low idle". Spec is 1050 rpm.

My guess is also fueling. Pull the choke just a bit - does it keep running? Being an '01, you should have an idle adjust cable poking out somewhere near your right knee. Turn the idle up a bit, see if that fixes it. If you have the proper idle speed setting (1050) and it still dies, check jets in the carburetor.
