Has anyone ever extended a swingarm and put a wider tire on it? Is it possible? Well anything is possible but what is involved in it? |

If you are using an extended swingarm I assume you will be using a chain in which case you can probably go wider. I could fit a 190 on my stock rear with less then a 1/8" space between the tire and belt |

S2 definitely has a steel arm. Unless yours was changed. Difference can be spotted a mile away. Steel arm is rectangle stock, cast aluminum arm in triangular shaped |

S3 (what I have) and knew THOSE had alum arms. From '99-'02, yes! But the '97-'98 S3's had the rectangular steel swingarm. Nit has been picked, 1313 |
