Also will it stay 1190 or will it go bigger? Its competition will be the 1290 Superduke. Although the power figures seem about the same, bigger motor = more torque, and that is not a bad thing. |

what will it cost? Previous articles have stated all three bikes (RX, SX, and AX) would be <$19k. One example: http://www.ebrdealer.info/pdf/mpn.pdf |

Larry- glad you enjoy the info. Now if I could just somehow parlay my internet sleuthing skills into a job with EBR... I'm sure there are others here that know WAY more about this stuff than the few nuggets I manage to find on the web. |

I heard we may know what an SX looks like come spring time. They will be busy in East Troy. Actual full scale RX production begins in December. All three "x" bikes will be 1190. (Message edited by fast1075 on October 21, 2013) |

Don't put too much stock in some of the magazine articles. It's not that they are, per se, wrong or misleading . . .but things are in flux and subject to change. Nothing is cast in stone and, given some of the talent arriving on the scene, I expect things to be continually improving . . both the product and the customer experience. Frankly . . . these folks "get it". Just a guess |

Court- Can you share when we'll see the first magazine road test of the RX? I'm hoping for a cover story in the next Cycle World. |

That was a good PDF article. you can't help but love Erik's mentality behind his motorcycles, and his business. The part about service tech training being based on online modules doesn't sound like the best idea IMHO. I think hands-on training with an EBR-trained tech is a better idea... maybe they could do regional seminars at universities or dealerships or something. while i did learn more working at the HD dealership than I did at MMI, the MMI training gave me the basis to learn the OJT portion of turning wrenches on HD models. the part about not needing an shop full of specialty tools is cool. |

The SX simply cannot get here soon enough. I am tired of being tempted only by Aprilias and KTMs... and they ARE tempting. |
