Regarding the LED headlight, is there more to the headlight than the thin strips of LEDs that line the edge of the headlight opening? It sure looks like there is some kind of bright light in the center of the fairing here.

Yes, that is the main LED headlight which puts out 2000 lumens, the DOT legal limit. It also has the LED accent strips around the sides of the headlight to function as the parking light.

How much you want to bet that headlight can be trivially hacked to push closer to 3000 lumens?

Looks awesome, other than the tail light. I don' know what he was thinking with that goofy floating tail light idea. I'm sure someone will come out with an aftermarket one that mounts under the subframe and look better than that

Not his fault, the DOT requires certain things, and many sport bikes look just like that. In fact, if he keeps to his thought process, that tail light assembly is the same as some other cycle because it is readily available and already DOT approved. This saves time and money in the process of getting the cycle out on the road.

Plus, it is quick and easy to remove for a day at the track.

Yea EBR isn't the only one with a floating tail light like that, there are regulations regarding the placement of things like the tail light and plate, so they do the best they can within those restrictions, and then make it so that it can be conveniently relocated or removed entirely by the owner.
