Author Message   Beardo Posted on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 - 05:09 pm:        Well, I had this bike listed on CL and have had nothing but flakes contact me. Go figure. So, I took that ad down and will only be listed here. I bought this bike off a fellow member with no keys, battery and out of storage. Since having it, I got a set of keys, new battery, coil, wires, fresh fluids throughout, fresh tires (Rosso IIs), clutch and throttle cables, NOS forks, all three isolators and I think that's it. I installed all the indicators, fly screen, Mikuni carb (I couldn't for the life of me get the CV deplugged in the lower circuits), non leaking shock and I think that's it. It's all one color (aside from the screen) but really needs someone to detail the hell out of it and take care of the cosmetics. It also needs a rear brake plunger. I stopped at a light one day and the rear brake pedal was hanging. Gone was the plunger. Funny cause I only used the rear brake as a hill hold! Anyhow, this bike fires right up and I have no doubt could make it across the country and back (provided you could take the seat!) but I can only have one, so I'm keeping the S2. $2,000 is firm. If it doesn't sell, then it'll still be here (is that a yogi-ism?)   Beardo Posted on Wednesday, October 09, 2013 - 08:47 am:        I'm done with riding on the road and not doing any track duty, so $1500 to a BWBer that provides the bike a good home.
