Just wanted to say hello to all the Old school Buell enthusiasts. Use to have an X1 lightning and thinking heavily on buying a 1998 S1. A few pics of the X1 I had (wish is still had it).

That's the Buell Select Seat or Pro Series or some damned thing like that. It was in the 2003 Buell accessory catalog. It's much firmer than stock but it's pretty narrow up front and it's still pretty uncomfortable but nowhere near as bad as stock. It's flatter with sharp edges where your legs go and it's still a nut cruncher. I bought one for my first X1W. You really want leather pants with that seat. |

thats correct. Its a buell parts seat. Not sure who made it for them. Kczombie thanks for the craigslist heads up but its already gone. |

set up a watchlist http://claz.org/classifieds/vehicles/motorcycles?q =buell+s1 While there is only one, there are no pictures, so it's hard to judge a condition |

Hard to tell from the pic but looks like a Buell Pegasus stitched on the seat, so I am thinking its a Buell select seat. |

Well the bike is in pretty good shape. Gonna need to do the forks and rebuild the rear shock, and get tires. Seems to run pretty good when warmed up. Iam sure there is going to be more things but just a few observations with a quick once over and quick ride. Winter project for sure. |
