dude... i didn't know that happens. is this a normal occurrence of riding, with no adverse effects, even though he's leaned that far over?

I don't think anyone "knew" it happened. the riders reported that it felt like it was happening and the TV guys were trying to figure out how to capture it when this photog beat them to it.

I believe it to be a common occurance there but no one has gotten a picture of it before this to prove it. It also happens at the Isle of Man in several spots, I've got a nice pix of a top guy leaned over at 120 mph with both wheels off the ground.

I remember seeing a picture of Loris Caparossi coming off the curb of a right hand turn,leaned way over and it looked like he was about 3 inches off the ground !!! That was way back when he rode for Ducati.Very cool pic.
