hi blake, could you put the sponsors on the links page? i have had a hell of a time in the past chasing down some of the sponsors with the random ads that pop up (till i got them all in my favorites). anyway maybe put links to their sites in the sponsor section as well. it could be i'm just an idiot too (it took me months to post a pic, never read the formatting page till just last year!) awesome site though even if i don't post all that much, i've been hangin round for years and have always enjoyed the enthusiasm shared for our beloved buells!! great job moderators |

Hi Blake, I came here because I had a couple ideas. I was thinking that having sections within the photo section would be cool. For instance an S1 section, S2 section, S3, X1, M2, Blast, XB, Race Bikes, Etc. Also something along similar lines for the KV, a section for each model. After thiking on this some more though, I realize placing the existing photos/data into categories would probably be a labor intensive nightmare. Maybe this is one of those ideas that seem good at first, but not so easy to do. Timbo |

Do you see a problem using the existing KV for XBs? The Tube frame discussions in the KV have pretty much died off. Granted, the KV does need some house cleaning and maintenance. I started converting all the KV topics to subtopic driven format instead of one long serial thread. In so doing I had asked that posters include the model and year of their bike, if it is pertinent, within their subtopic title. That would make for much easier sorting and searching. What would make even more sense would be to have a custom form appear instead of the normal "New Thread" form. It would include the requisite fields for model and year and such. It will take someone like, oh I dunno... Reepicheap to wrangle such a script together. Please send him an email. He's a very busy guy, but if we harrass him enough, he might capitulate |

hey Blake, how about a clock, telling the current badweb time. For all of us scattered across different time/day zones. Would be good to know if a message or reply went up five minutes or twenty four hours ago. |

no but it would be easier to browse knowing its all XB or tuber. it would probably be a mess to go through and seperate it all now though, but hey I'm sure you've got nothing better to do..

anyone here ever been to svrider.com? its the center of all suzi-q sv info on the web.. and this site seems to be the same, but for buells... i wouldn't mind seeing dedicated sections to tech tips(not forums, but pages, with submit buttons, and somone looking at the ideas to make sure they aren't something like "to get an extra 10 hp, stick your hand in a blender"... or "to get an extra 1300 hp, strap an ge-701/c gas turbine motor to your new xb"... maybe a dedicated gallery... maybe a list of sponsors or something, with what kinds of stuff they offer... etc etc etc... would make stuff easier, and make for a lot less of new folks posting stuff that all the long termers already knew, or moaybe a faq.. something like that.. wally |

Blake, as much as I wanted to be a sponsor of BadweB it's not in the cards right now. Maybe I can pull together enough to be a sponsor at a later date. I wanna banner for me! Since I've been selling the patches I've notice there is a large number of folks here that use paypal. To help keep this site up and running, might I suggest a "donate button" using paypal for those that want to support at a smaller level that the sponsors, but want to support BadWeb none the less.

Dang Trip! To the doghouse with you! Glitch, I'd rather avoid that scenario, at least for now. I can just see someone posting ads for patches and t-shirts and when confronted responding that "...but I sent you a donation..." If you really want to sell some patches, make a deal with one of the existing sponsors, like American Sport Bike for instance? |

There sure seems to be a lot of generic threads being created on the XBoard. Maybe moving the XBoard from the top of the Main Topics list to below the Quick Board would help the generic threads post to the proper topic. |

Actually I would like to see a Tuber forum. It seems that the XBoard is becoming more of a general Buell topics area and I'd like to see an area that deals specificaly with the older bikes. This may become really important since we are being abandoned by HD/Buell and will have to rely on each other more and more. JT |

This may become really important since we are being abandoned by HD/Buell and will have to rely on each other more and more Sounds a little like the "good ol' days" to me. Abandoned by East Troy/Juneau Street, no dealer help to speak of and left to helping each other. Could it be that BWB will once again rise to the level of a "critical resource for Buell owners.?"

A TuBoard would be great. I have thought that a X1, S1, M2, ect. boards would be nice, but a Tuber forum would be better. |
