Congrats Brent!!!! Hope to see you at a few events this year. My new job allows for some better "off time" during the riding season. |

Waiting on the outcome of a couple of items, but if they work out as expected I will probably do the track day at Blackhawk. Definetly need to get Roger & Bomber out there as well. |

Just thought I'd give everyone an early heads up. On Sept 18th 2004, Bubba Blackwell, the Buell American Daredevil, will be performing in Waterloo Iowa at the National Cattle Congress fairgrounds! Ride to the edge! Dave Iowa HD/Buell (Buell Cycle Center) Sure, plan a track day the day I get back from the dealer meeting. I leave on vacation west the next day. |

I have updated the chapter website with all the current info I have on upcoming events for this year. I know there's lots more so email me any run's, parties, etc that you want included in the calendar. You will see there all the Mid-West Roadracing Championship events that Speedy will be competing in. Come out and give him some moral support, also a helping hand would always be welcome in the pits. Don't forget that our website now has its own domain and can be reached directly at http://www.windycitybrag.com bookmark it to your Favorites. Sam Sam Scolastico Illinois H-D/Buell 1301 S. Reminder......next Chapter meeting is Thursday, March 4, 7:00 PM @ IL-HD. Activity for the night will be LEATHER CARE That's right......bring in your crusty, bug-splattered, dried-out leather apparel.....you know, the stuff you just put in the closet after last riding season and never got around to taking care of. There will be leather cleaner, conditioner and dye (black only) on hand, in addition to the regular beer and pizza (not recommended for leather). You should bring two rags, one for cleaning, one for conditioner. Also bring some newspaper if you plan on applying dye touch-up. Bring jackets, pants, gloves, boots, whips, whatever. Sorry, no G-strings...unless your old lady is wearing it. Should be fun, spread the word. Hope to see everyone there. |

Hey all I just bought Neils' Stripe'r and sent in the suspension for a complete rework, springs, gold valves the whole works. Anyway just wanted to say hi and hopefully can make the Blackhawk day, raced CCS until 2001, Blackhawk was the home track, but hey fixed all the bad surface in turns 3 and 4. See ya ll soon. |

Bryan, I always felt that Stripe'r was a nice hybrid. Hope you enjoy it. I'm interested in your suspension work, but have some questions (if I may): 1. Are you talking rear Showa shock? If so, who did you find that would do the rebuild and mods? 2. If front forks, who did you go with? Ever had anything done by them before? Thanks |

Roger, Your personal email is full and not accepting messages. So I'll post my question here: Do you or anyone else have email addresses for chapter members? If so, can I get them? Thanks, Curt
