Changed the O2 sensor out. Removed shock and fan to get at it. Not bad at all except for that darned plastic shroud from the cooling kit. Followed the service manual directions. Now I sure hope that the engine trouble light doesn't throw any more oxygen sensor trouble codes. |

Used a 7/8" crowsfoot wrench for sensor removal and install as suggested by a fellow badwebber. Thanks. Was only 3 bucks at Northern Hydraulics. |

I've got the original fan in my bike and at least now I know how to get it out. Thanks, service manual! |

Good luck. Replaced the O2 sensor on my 09 and it's still throwing the same code. CEL comes on for a minute or so every time I ride it. |

Mine wouldn't throw a code until I was riding over 60 mph and the engine was good and hot. Read on badweb that the O2 sensors degrade after 15,000 miles of use. Mine had 39,000 on it. |
