I am in need of a new battery for my XB12 scg. What would you recommend and where can I buy it online. I am a weekend rider with 3 Buells and they all stay on a tender when not in use. I live in Vegas so it is usually 80 - 110 degrees 8 months out of the year. I don't want to spend a fortune on a battery if I don't have to. |

Honestly the stock Harley battery is the lead acid battery that I recommend. They are available everywhere, and the price isn't bad, and they last forever assuming you don't discharge it accidentally. I personally don't recommend cheaper batteries, they often don't fit right, and don't seem to last as long as the Harley ones. |

Who makes the stock Harley battery and can I get it any where other than the Harley dealership or online? Is it sold under any other name? |

I've had good results with Interstate. |

I had good experiences with the Harley stock AGM until the last one I bought last year, it was crap. The battery I bought it to replace (another Harley AGM) is working better at this point. So I wonder if something changed... |

I tried others and went back to the HD AGM. It's been a couple of years since I had to replace one though. Brad |
