OK. I posted a while back that I had an issue with my tach and speedometer jumping around all the sudden. That was the beginning. That same ride it wouldn't go above 3K or so rpms. I know this wasnt a motor problem because the motor was sounding great. Something with the tac jumping that I think was communicating and telling it to stop. I got it home and parked it. Day later tried to start and when I turned the key nothing. No lights no dash nothing. Turned off and on a few times and then it came back on (dash lights and headlight). So i hit the starter and click then loss of power. Turn the key back and forth 5-10 times and it would come back on. Hit the starter same thing, turns off completely. Wait a few weeks go out now no power even after turning the key back and forth several times. Hook up jump cables. Have power. Hit starter switch....it sounds for a second like its gunna start then click click click click. I have no idea whats going on and I dont even know where to start. I think what caused this was a recent muddy trip to East Coast Sturgis and a high pressure water hose at the car wash....I know....dumb PLEASE HELP Texts or calls would be appreciated...or I can just come back and check this post. 410-979-1891 I appreciate any help....my pocket is not full and I wanna ride. |

Try shorting the key out of the circuit. There could be dirty contacts in there which would explain all your issues. |

+1 on the ignition switch. Also check all battery cable connections, pay close attention to the ground. Mike |
