Pricing to sell, I want a motard bad, so entirely negotiable! Reason for sale is... well.. again, I want a motard, the 1125CR is just way more than I want nowadays, and my interests are shifting from sportbikes to supermoto. Located in Vancouver, WA -19,xxx miles, second owner, bought it used with 3,000mi on it -EBR (Erik Buell Racing) ECM for Jardine exhaust -Jardine RT-5 slip on exhaust (repacked ~500mi ago) -One bar end mirror -Brand new OEM forks were installed in the last 300mi -Tires have ~1500mi on them -Passenger pegs! Seems a lot of these bikes aren't coming with these lately. -Jardine Fender eliminator kit with one LED license plate bolt (it is not wired up but the wiring all appears to still be there in the tail section, it wasn't wired up when I got the bike so I couldn't tell you.) -Blinkers are OEM LED swaps done by previous owner, work was done by Latus Harley-Davidson -Clubman bars and a shorty brake lever. (I have a shorty clutch lever somewhere too, but I prefer a longer clutch lever) I'm absolutely meticulous about maintenance, though I never was very good about keeping records. I admit I never thought I'd ever consider selling this bike, so I figured "Why keep every receipt? So I can tell myself I maintain my bike?" I can at least get paperwork proving warranty work and the 12,000mi valve check, however if you absolutely require it. The bike was under warranty until the first of this year (2013) so anything and everything not maintenance related was handled at Paradise Harley Davidson and Buell. Good people who know their stuff. Voltage regulator was replaced at the beginning of August. She's not perfect, she HAS been down, nothing too crazy, no high speed offs or front end tacos of the front wheel but I feel it is fair to advise you of this and its why my price is quite negotiable and not as high as many comparable offerings. On the left side, it has scratches on the radiator pod, the corner of the frame and the tail, and some small scuffs on the ignition cover, also on that side. I hit some black ice while pulling into the driveway. Right side damage is only found on the swing arm, just a few scratches from a low speed off in a gravel driveway. Fortunately the plastics are easily buffed and polished to their original shine if necessary as they are molding-in-color plastic, they are RED from surface to back, and quite durable! I'm in the market for a supermoto, as such, I AM open to trades but please be aware that I'm probably only going to be interested in WR250X, DRZ-400SM or maybe a Husqvarna SM610. Depending on the bike I may ask for cash on top, or even give you extra cash if the deal is real sweet! Shipping might be an option as well but it will be up to you to pay for it and set it up. Please note mileage will likely increase as I will be riding it occasionally! \newurl http://i.imgur.com/qJJhj47h.jpg, Mileage \newurl http://i.imgur.com/bMyAmfEh.jpg, front shot \newurl http://i.imgur.com/kJhFinUh.jpg, side shot \newurl http://i.imgur.com/SLLr0Thh.jpg, other side shot \newurl http://i.imgur.com/p9UqHdch.jpg, nice and clean! \newurl http://i.imgur.com/5lqVR8Eh.jpg, in the garage, dirty \newurl http://i.imgur.com/zp0H4Dbh.jpg, another garage shot \newurl http://i.imgur.com/xXj4ViHh.jpg, Pod scratches and frame scratch Shoot me a message or post up if interested. She runs great, but I'm tired of wasting such a wonderful bike on my boring commutes, and she's probably no good for riding down stairs, so theres where the motard comes into play. |

Price reduced to $4200 OBO (I mean "OBO", I'm open to offers guys!) Seriously, I just want to sell her off before I start to rethink my decision. I know I'm going to regret selling my baby but easier to just rip off the bandaid and make it go away! Someone enable my desire to step away from her before I get cold feet please! My core riding group is switching to motards and I'm feeling left out Its also a huge waste of a great sportbike for me to commute on the highway rather than ride it like a sportbike! Great for passing power and comfortable cruising though... but still a waste of a wonderful bike. Just a couple more years, get my apprenticeship finished off, I'll be buying another 1125CR to replace her, one for hooliganism and commuting (motard) one for sport riding (Lobster bike! And only in red, because red 1125 is best 1125) Anyways, she's just sitting in teh garage now, waiting for someone to adopt her. Great shape mechanically, not beat on or anything. Ridden very tame, tires still have the tits on the edges.} |
