Does my '01 X1 have the cv bolt pattern at the opening of the throttle body? What does CV stand for? (still learning) Thanks |

cv as in carburetor constant velocity Cv is a factor used in pressure drop / loss calculations |

I've seen these before, just wasn't sure if they were the right dia or if the mounting holes would line up. |

Don't know if anyone answered your question, the bolt pattern for a Sportster CV carb is the same as the throttle body inlet on your X1. If you need the HD part number for the spacer I can post it when I get home Monday. Barry |

Thanks for the help guys. I got the 7/8" wide Kuryakyn spacer, center punched, drilled and tapped for a 1/8" pipe fitting with an 3/8" barbed end to run my breather tube to. This eliminates my oil catch can and cleans up the look of the bike. |
