The new Lincoln pickup. Sorry but I didnt take a profile pic..I almost threw up just looking at it I dont recall what this is either, but whats with all the very boxy looking stuff lately? Hondas Concept. Putrid comes to mind The Lexus SC450 was another one the wife unit went gaa gaa over Toyotas Concept pickup. Now this thing for some reason I like. It looked huge in person & with a sorta chopped top look to it. Didnt care for the big chromed beak tho

Big yellow badass concept. I like it I think this was a Mazda concept Aston Martin...yummy The Aston Martin Vanquish...super yummy Astons convertible model. I prefer the hardtops Part of the Jaguar display. It was cool, they had racing videos playing all day. 1000 cars under 1 roof, Bentleys, Jags, Astons, GTs, etc etc & the wife goes nutz for a crummy little 3 series BMW convertible? I dont understand women. The Maybach..like I said before never heard of em.

Dodge slingshot, Hybrid that gets 45 mpg & as the showgirl was remarking "will slingshot to 60 mph in 10 seconds" WOW!!! What a fricken joke. Rear view of the slingshot The Chevy pickup SSR. They actually had some salesmen standing there holding the door open the entire time. Didnt want people to get to comfortable I guess The C6 Vette, much better looking in person than in pics. I still prefer the Mustang tho. I have no clue what this is, it was in GM's display

You know, that Toyota pickup concept thing looks like something R. Crumb would have drawn in Zap Comics. All it needs is a line of cartoon people walking in line saying, "Keep on Truckin'" Or maybe Mr. Natural in the drivers seat, with his beard hanging out the window. |

I didnt spend much either. It did cost me $15 for parking & admission was $10 a person, but as we were walking up to the ticket booth some guy asked if we needed tickets & gave me 2 free complimentary ones. Cool as hell, saved $20 by the generosity of a stranger. |

That 2 seater Pontiac is actually going into production. It was a concept last year and GM put the go ahead on it. It's called the Solstice and should be under $20K. Supposedly 170hp in the first year with possibly a turbo or supercharged version with over 250hp to come out later. Definitely a better effort than GM's last Pontiac 2 seater....the FIERO! |

It was a much better looking car than the GTO. Extremely disappointed in that cars appearance. Sure the drivetrain is nice. 350 ci, rear wheel drive with a 6 speed manual..but it shouldnt look like a grandpa car. |

they're really fast, but, since the little dear weighs next to nothing, and has (or had) one fo those ex-Buick aluminum V8s in to, it aughta be fast . . .. . they are very cool . . .. . 30s tech built yesterday . . . .. really wonky suspension design, ladder frame with body panels beat out of aluminum supported by wood . .. . . . . now, if they were selling the three-wheelers . . . . . .. . |

Bill...you would take the Jag over the Aston? Must admit the decision is getting tougher. Both the Aston and Ford GT are beginning to beckon me. By the way...Was that a pick up truck with a convertible top? Hmmm... |

Go with the Ford . The BEST racing heritage and Jaguar is Ford anyway... Most people don't know that Ford is the winningest company in the history of motorsport... |
