Killing time at home this morning; I managed to root out 4 patents by Erik for design features on a Hero Motocorp Scooter: http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PT O2&Sect2=HITOFF&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsearch-adv.h tm&r=0&f=S&l=50&d=PTXT&RS=AN%2Fhero&Refine=Refine+ Search&Refine=Refine+Search&Query=an%2F%22hero+mot ocorp%22 The patents cover the "protective coverings" (sort of Japanese folding fan looking things mentioned in previous articles), the mirrors, and the front and rear wheels. Still digging to see what else I can find of interest. |

I find Google's patent search much easier to navigate than the Patent and Trademark office itself. Google Patent Search Server Maybe it'll be fun to do a little digging today! Search for "Erik Buell" (use quotes) and over 740 returns! (Message edited by slaughter on August 05, 2013) |

Agreed, but IIRC, these weren't showing up there when I looked. I think google's indexing may not be quite as up-to-date as the "official" site. |

I fooled with it a bit - many of the "erik buell" results are where his patents are cited in others'. Interesting exercise - I was curious about the hybrid motorcycle concepts. Much to see. |
