(Chaconas, friend and former Buell racer BTW) Rob said he was getting sore/tired and Chaconas passed him on the brakes but Rob was able to get around him for the win. Rob'll have the particulars - but it wasn't a slam-dunk by any stretch! Bob Setbacken on a 1098 on pole took the lead at start. I was second into turn one. Got around Bob goin' out of 6 into 7. Held the lead until Chaconas out broke me into 1 on last lap. My bad. Should known he'd be makin' his move. He usually waits until 3. Rode his rear wheel up to 4. He was on the inside line, which I knew would put him wide on exit. Went high, turned in late, and drove hard when he opened the inside door. Got a wheel in front and got position down the hill into 5 forcing him to brake early.
