Geoff May is 2 seconds slower this year then he was last year at Barber after 1st qualifying, all the other riders lap times are about the same if not faster this year. Geoff finished 5th in Superbike points last year, and finshed 4th in both Barber Superbike races last year, but is having a rough start in 2013, I thought it was because of starting the year on 2 high speed tracks. |

He's gone down a few times this year and he just had a kid. In sure his confidence has gone down a bit |

Good to see Dustin Dominguez doing better. He was 7th fastest in the first practice session. |

So did Pegram finish behind May because he jumped the start? |

No Pegram beat May by almost 6 seconds on the track,so even with his 5 second penalty he still beat May,because May faded badly late in the race. Fillmore finished 5th on the KTM,because he finshed just behind Pegram on the track,so the 5 second penalty on Pegram cost him a top 5 finish . |

The amazing part of the race is that Geoff May had his appendix out earlier this week, and still managed to finish in the top 10. Talk about an Iron Man... |

+1 Make that "Mr. Consistency Iron Man". Just aMAYzing! Good results for the other EBR riders but anybody know what happened to Dominguez early on? |

Determination and commitment (borderline insanity) is what drew me to motorcycle racing a long time ago. Two thumbs up to all 4 of the EBR riders and teams! Can't wait to see how things work out at Mid Ohio. |

Speaking of determination and commitment, here is Cory's answer to a fan on Facebook commenting that he should go back to Suzuki. Cory West: It's not that easy Kevin. And I'm not a quitter. I have a good team and a bike with great potential. If you don't put in the hard work, you'll never get anything out of it. Such is LIFE |

Speaking of Cory, here he is putting a fresh Badweatherbikers sticker on his helmet. Thanks again for the help getting Cory to Daytona.

Hank, the sticker was clearly visible when they stuck the camera on him. So far, he has been impressive with a handful of top 10's. He just needs the seat time that May has. I wonder if the RS is so different it's that steep of a learning curve. I think the same would have to go for Yates as well. |
