ok so i am a bit on the excited side. Seeing my bike sit there in the shed for weeks on end is just depressing, so when i started takeing her apart to get ready for daytona, i keep seeing myself looking at the weather here in Michigan hoping something will change.. I've looked high and low and can't find any mention of a scheduled Battletrax during bikeweek.I see there's one scheduled in Cali on the 29th so I'm assuming bikeweeks a no go? If so, that sucks. Maybe I'll take my bagger instead of my Buell! I see BRAGS only planned event is a dirt bike race. WTF's up with that? Is BRAG trying to tell us something? Is Buell releasing a dirt bike in '04? I'll be at the track all week if anyone wants to hook up to cheer on our favorite Buell riders in FUSA Thunderbike or Formula Extreme. We could have an "outriders" Buell party! | ||

When should we plan to meet? I'm planning to be at the AMA races to see the Buells run Formula Extreme. How about a nite get together at Hooters? Meet at the Buell demo tent one day as a group? Hess's gas station at nite to watch the "show" at nite? Let me know I'll be there all week, and I'm goin to the supercross to watch and hang with EB.We (Bueller's from Bad Web) should do something as a organized group at least once. Since you guys are gonna be there having a good time and I'll be here counting the ice sickles hanging from my gutters,does anyone know if the superbike (200) will be aired on the tube and what time.Man if I can't be there at least bring some of it to my TV room. | ||

Coolice, Meeting at the Buell tent and hanging at Hooters sounds good. Decide what day and post it here and in STORMFRONTS both in the Tampa and Orlando areas. We should be able to get a group together as the Lakeland BRAG come over as well as other FL buellers. Frank | ||

Dana, The 200 is going to be broadcast live on Speed (AKA the NASCAR Channel) at 1:30 PM on Saturday, March 6. Since I can't make it down there this year, I'll be parked in front of the Idiot Box. | ||

Hooters and the Hess sounds like fun! Pick a date and time and let us know. First time I'm at bikeweek was in 2000. We're cruising around one night and ride by the Hess gas station and see a sh*tload of bikes there so of course we pull in to see what all the hub bubs about. The place is full of polished,chromed,lowerd, blown,turboed,busa's,GSXR's,900RR's etc. Way cool! Then I see a big group gathered around a bunch of bikes so I go over to check it out and once I wiggle my way thru the crowd I notice the bikes, there all covered in fur! ( this was before I'd ever seen FTP) Needless to say these guys put on a heck of a show up and down International Speedway Blvd. Sometime later that evening my girlfriend starts tugging at my shirt telling me to "look at that crazy ******" Some dudes doing a standup wheelie,thru traffic, bare*ss naked! What a crazy night! So yes, I'm looking forward to spending a few nights at the Hess station. Is it still that wild? I hope so. | ||

OK - As far as track stuff I'm a track junkie and will be in the infield for AMA Formula Extreme. Then Thurs nite is AMA Flat-track races. Friday is Supercross. BUT every night IS Hess's night- sometimes until the early am hours...the"show" gets pretty good. So how about Tues night Hooters/Hess's. Wed. am hang at the Buell tent. Thurs. afternoon meet in the infield to support the Buell's "thunder" around the track. Thur. nite Flattrack and then stop at Hess's and ride downtown and ride Main St as a group. Any other ideas you guys decide. I'll keep checking for your posts and finalize our plans by next Wed. Mike  | ||

Those of you Buelligans that would like to see the fastest Straightline Buells in the country can hit some of the Dragraces on Tues. or Wed. at Gainesville and then shoot over to Daytona. | ||
