Same as my other ad, selling whichever bike I can, this one is still bank owned, selling the other lets me keep this, or selling this lets me keep the other. No go-fast parts, mostly just comfort items, wired (carefully) for heated vest(s) and electric grips using the Buell switch pod to keep things nice and clean. Laminar lip to push the wind up off my gut a bit, Touratech polycarbonate headlight guard (I'll have to post a pic of that in a bit). Pictured with the STT seat, I also have a Ss seat that's been scooped out a bit and recovered with grip tex vinyl for the pillion. Numerous other who-haws and other bits included., more info in the local advert including current miles and such. Original number plated and associated hardware will go with the bike. Just washed her tonight so I can take more pictures and post them up tomorrow. Here's the local ad: http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=25411242&cat=144

Bump, how's my price point? Bike is kept in the garage and on a tender in the winter/idle months. Prolly putting new Scorpion Syncs on this week. Current tires are... tired. She is clean now, new pics pending. I have wiggle room on price, so open to offers, includes parts and service manuals, and spare seat for two up riding. -Mike (Message edited by littlebuggles on June 03, 2013) |

Price reduced to $4800 to bring it in line with NADA consumer guide pricing. |

Nice wheelnerds sticker. Did you try pinging Chuck and seeing if he wanted to trade you his triumph for your STT? |

Thanks Reep, I'm pretty sure he's gotten his Triumph sold actually. Last time we spoke I believe he said he's down to just the Versys now. I've been getting poked at with questions by locals, but no one has even come to look at it. |

I've taken a deposit on the STT from a probable buyer in Oregon. Bike is on hold through the first week of July so he can get his annual guard training done then schedule his trip out here. Mike |

Whew! That means you're keeping the Cyclightning then right Mike? I was going to have to pull the trigger at the end of the month on that if no one bit. Which one would you miss more? |

Well I won't know how much I'll miss it 'til it's gone... I was actually hoping to sell the old bike then pay off and hang onto the newer one, which would be more practical for me to keep. The old bike still has projects I've planned for it, prolly years into the future (transmission refinement and paint mostly, might need new steering head bearings right now) so I wouldn't mind being rid of that potential money pit there, but it's been a fun bike to ride and tinker on for the last 12 years. Until the deal is done on the Super TT I'm keeping the old bike for sale, so it'll be there to tempt you a while longer Dave. 'Course if I sell the old bike too I can pay off a signature loan that's been lingering for a while, and fix the suspension, front end, transfer case leak and other issues with my old truck that are bugging me... selling off my only lightly used track leathers and spare parts can help with that too I guess. Selling both bikes would clear the path for a Uly in my garage, which would probably be the best option for me and my daughter to toot around on... or maybe a Tiger 800... |

I'm counting down the days to come take that off of your hands! |

Hey Justin, I took a couple closer pics of the tires on there now for you. Trying to load them to the 'puter isn't working so well. I can just send them from my phone if you'd like. Took my daughter for a ride today, we'll keep it clean for ya! |

Yeah feel free to shoot 'em over via text. If you think they're ok for the ride back I'll trust your judgment If you think they're iffy though then I guess should probably just swap them out. |

Hopefully this will keep the frame from getting so hot in the summer months. Took it out for a ride the other night, 97 degrees out. Frame got pretty hot by the time I got home. Looking at fan function changes on ECM Spy too. Need to torque all the fasteners and take it for a ride. Putting the orange cover on the airbox, will do the number plates before you pick it up. |

Fortunately (or unfortunately for me) the average temperatures in Oregon won't make that too much of an issue... Hopefully I'll get some time this year to enjoy that though! Appreciate you taking care of it. Made the final plans for the trip so everything is 100% set to go. |

Sold! Justin, I hope this bike treats you well and your ride home is both uneventful and enjoyable. I believe I gave you a complete history. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions or concerns. Thank you, it will make financial matters on the home-front much easier. Wish I'd have taken a picture to post here. Mike |
