Nuke Blue frame, Molten Orange bodywork, twin tail, Corbin seat, American Sport Bike frame brace, updated isolators, primary tensioner, Ferodo pads, fresh Mobil 1, K&N oil filter, new battery, blue 55/60 halogen bulb, polished alloy swingarm, S1W header, Wileyco stainless cannister, Napoleon bar end, Traction grips, alloy footpegs, updated shifter, Forcewinder, some stuff I'm probably forgetting. No leaks, weird noises, or issues. It's a real nice bike. The bad news: will need a rear Michilin pretty soon, tank is bubbled big time. Three grand, ride it home. Bike is 15 miles south of York, PA. |

Yep, right here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buell-S1-Lighting-9 8-real-nice-aside-from-the-tank-/151057310783?_trk sid=p3984.m1555.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&fo rcev4exp=true I put up a couple of Gibson electrics, too. I need to raise a couple of grand but hope that nothing sells, to be perfectly honest. It's one of those situations. P.S. It certainly has more snot to it than my Ulysses with a race kit. Is this the Steve Ford that used to own/operate "Parts is Parts" and was/is the Guzzi Guru? If it is I bought parts from you several times for my 83SP. I still ride it, and I ride the 96 S2 as well. |

Yep, that's me. The SP is a nice bike and so is the S2 - you have good taste in motorcycles! They're both big, comfortable mile eaters. I may be fortunate enough to be taking my S1 off of the market, I will know for sure shortly. |

That's great news to know you are still around! The SP/NT goose still lays down the miles with ease, and the Buell is my play bike. It doesn't look much like an S2 anymore. It was a hacked up mess when I got it so I finished it out the way I wanted it. There's a pic of it on my profile page if you want to take a look. I still have an urge for a old Lemans, but for now twisting the throttle on the Buell supplies the thrill fix I need. |

I took a look at your profile, pretty cool as you get a SEAT instead of a suppository that the S1 came with and the supple forks of the S2. I'll bet that's a fun bike, all right. The Guzzis are fun, too, but in a different way. I put a '98 S3 motor in my S2 and need to quit being so weird and buy some tires and a battery for it and get it back on the road where it belongs. It turns out I get to keep the S1 after all so please disregard this ad. A good day for me as I really didn't want to sell this bike even a little bit. |

You are right, the S2 is one of the funnest and easiest to ride bikes I've ever owned or ridden. The Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires are amazing and so incredibly light the gyroscopic effect is reduced a lot. The bike countersteers like it's a hundred pounds lighter than it is. Seems appropriate to put the Pirelli's on the Marchesini rims along with a Brembo brake. I guess It has a little bit of pasta bike in it!!! Sure glad to hear you can hang on to your Lightning! |

Stainless mistrals I got direct from Agostini in Italy, your jet kits in the Dellorto pumpers with K&N filters, your distributor spring kit, valtek timing chain tensioner, electronic ignition with the good coils, etc, etc. Runs great and at 80mph it is so smooth and stable it's like I'm sitting in a recliner sucking on a cold drink. I bought this bike new in May of 1983 after special ordering it, and I am still in love with it. |

Since we've diverted into Guzzi's, here's mine... Possibly one of the best sounding motorcycles ever.

They're Mistral mufflers. I think it's a Stucchi (sp?) crossover, but I'm not positive - it was all on the bike when I got it a few years back. It has every bit as much character as my Buell's. Guzzi's are definitely unique! |

You guys are giving me the Guzzi bug again, especially that Dr. John frame LeMans. Corbin seat, Verlicchi swan necks, some sort of small bags on it, really nice! I put over 350,000 miles on Guzzis over the years, maybe it's time to see if I can't hit the half million mile mark on the crazy things before I croak... |

The seat was done by a guy named Rich Maud. It's very nice. The bags are the factory Guzzi accessories. They are pretty tiny, but do expand far enough to nearly warrant a "wide load" banner once opened to limit. The bike is pretty much as i bought it off ebay a few years back, although was suffering from the "bubbling black engine paint" which was pretty normal for the 2002's, i guess. I redid that with Harley crinkle black spray paint and it's holding up well. Only other thing I did was add a Power Commander with the proper map. Runs nice! |

Richard Maund, is he still running the High Performance Urinals, an oxymoron if ever there was one? That would be Urals to the uninitiated... Sorry to have totally derailed the Classified Section. Yeah, I need to get back into the old Murder Greasies again. |

That sounds like Mark Tenney doing the narration? Tom Waits is singing about my other favorite brand, Nortons - good stuff! I've had a couple of V7 Sports but you guys know that, I think. (Message edited by SteveFord on June 07, 2013) |

Hey Steve didn't you have a smokin 1000S in the killer green/black paint scheme like the one in this web pic? And do I recall a basket case Lemans you nursed back to health?
