For sale is a 2008 Buell 1125R "25th Anniversary Edition" Sport bike with 12,500 miles. These bikes were designed by Erik Buell and sold through Harley Davidson. Erik's company lives on through Erik Buell Racing (EBR) and continues to dominate the AMF racing series. All parts are still readily available through Harley Davidson, EBR, or American Sport Bike. When debuted, it was designed to compete against the Ducati and KTM bikes at a better price point: http://www.fasterandfaster.net/2008/06/tiff-of-twi ns-ktm-rc8-vs-ducati-1098-vs.html The Buell 1125R is built around a liquid cooled 1125cc Rotax v-twin motor making 146hp and 82ft-lbs of torque with a very flat power curve, unlike other 1000cc liter bikes such as the Yamaha R1, Suzuki GSXR 1000, or Honda CBR 1000. Some of the unique designs on this bike are the perimeter braking system on the front wheel which cuts un-sprung weight in half, fuel in the frame, under slug exhaust, and oil reserve in the rear swing arm. All of these innovate designs work towards the common goal of delivering a bike with an extremely low center of gravity, which translates into excellent handling. I'm the original owners and primarily used it for commuting. Most of its miles are on the high way just cruising. I also have a clean title in hand. Everything works likes new but is due for its 12,500 mile service. I've made some cosmetic changes to the rear of the bike to get rid of the bulky license plate holder. The tail light was upgraded to an LED type with integrated turn signals and a smoked lens. The only performance modifications on the bikes are a K&N air filter and the air restriction solenoid removed (emissions device) so that it doesn't bog down under heavy throttle. $4600 OBO, I'm looking to sell it in the next week so come and get it. I'm located in zip code 48383. I'm quickest to respond to e-mail. But you can also call or text to eight five eight 663 six 3 four 5. If you call, please leave a message. I don't usually don't answer unknown numbers (telemarketers). Pictures are here: http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/mcy/3789798849.h tml |

Not really, I was honestly curious as to what AMF series was. And, I don't like to see someone with errors, so I was being a smartass on that one. |
