If you are looking for an X-1 at a great price, I have a deal (Pardon the sales hype from the ads). 2000 BUELL X-1 Lightning Race Stripe, This is a one of a kind Buell that will turn heads wherever you go! This bike has all the goodies you can put on an X-1. It is a numbered limited edition 2000 Race Stripe X-1 Buell. This bike has dyno'd at 90 RWHP and 80 ft-lb torque It is currently set up as an "X-3" which is an X-1 with an S-3 fairing and dash (more wind protection) (Note: Original X-1 hardware will go with this bike. It can be changed back to an X-1 in about an hour). Just take a look at all the extras and TLC that has been poured over this perfect example of a Buell X-1 Lightning. It is ready to run and has been my daily ride. This bike is an 9.5 out 10. It has been very well cared for, garaged, and ridden by an adult. It has been a great ride but I don't ride her anymore. It is a great bike for someone wanting a Buell but not wanting to pay big $'s or wanting a perimeter frame Buell. e-mail or call me (812-760-5015) if you want more info. Here is a list of modifications and extras: One Owner. Bought new in late September 2000. 10 months left on extended warranty Everything is color matched to the Red Race Stripe motif (chin fairing included) Bartels Carbon Fiber air cleaner with K&N filter, American Sport Bike Carbon Fiber tank accents, Buell Race ECM, Polished header, Race kit polished Supertrap IDS slip-on (new style), Tail section (polished), 2001 shifter (polished) with bronze bushings, Rear brake lever polished with bronze bushings, Corbin Gunfighter and Lady seat (color-matched) with back rest (removable). (stock seat and Buell P&A seat included), S3 touring handlebar, Throttle Meister cruise control, Heated handgrips, Adjustable front brake lever, Buell Tank bag, saddle bags and tank bra, Signal dynamics rear LED dual intensity brake light, Signal dynamics side marking lights, Michelin 100X Tires, Jazz breather can, New battery, New stator, Y-front header support, New Showa rear shock (the #2 recall "big eyes", New 2000 front brake rotor Now the bottom line $4500.00 with ALL the goodies. Give me a call at 812-760-5015. Ride More, Lean More, Grin More. Neil S. |

FMJ, no pics. Hadn't got serious yet about selling as the weather still not great. Was just looking for an alternative for Galen. There's probably some pics from Splash or Border Raid. |

Well it sounds like we will have a new Buelligan in our folds next Saturday. Stripe'r has been spoken for and seems like she will be heading to a good home. I'll post some picts this weekend as she gets loaded up. I'm a little sad but, Passion should be able to console me . Ride More, Lean More, Grin More. Neil S. |

Ccryder, it's a shame to see it go. Everyone should have multiple Buells in their garage. I hope the new owner will love it as much as you do.

Bryan: You can't be too responsible, otherwise you won't be able to wear the Buelligan moniker! You need to be able to scare small children and rattle the windows of octarians. Anyway Stripe'r will uphold the traditions long ago set forth on BWB, you just have to twist the grip and hold on. Time2Work. Neil S. |
