Well something's gotta give, I can't have two bikes so I'm listing both and whichever sells, I'm keeping the other. Y2K Cyclone M2 with X1 front end and S1 back end. Lots of polish and shine, plenty of fine tuning of various bits and pieces. Listed locally for $3750; willing to ride it a ways for delivery if you're interested. Manuals, tank bag and an older HJC AC-11 available with purchase of the bike. Here's a pic and link to the local ad on ksl.com: http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=25411685&cat=144

Well too bad you're no longer in CA. 'Cause I could ride it to CA, not so sure about TX though...

Pictured with the old rebuilt shock, have got Tuono mirrors, LED blinkers and 1" risers under the Crossroads "clip-ons" now. Also have a Euro saddle for it for long distance. Buell X1 carbon rear fender not mounted yet, nor has the carbon heat shield, both need a couple more coats of clear to protect from UV damage. You prolly wouldn't care to bother with finishing the heated grip's wiring being so far south. Front fender has been resealed with about six coats of clear if I remember correctly. |

Always a dilemma if you need to sell a buell. I've owned a xb12 and now have a m2/s1/x1 buell, can't say which i prefer. Whould love to have the power and handling of the xb and the looks and charasterics of the tube frame. Good luck with selling one, and thanks for the tips and advice. |

Thanks Robbert, I'm hoping that if it sells the next owner will ask if they have problems or questions they'll ask me. |

Well, how 'bout a bump. I've taken a deposit on my Super TT but this one remains on the chopping block until that deal is done, which is more than two weeks out... I'd like to say "Bike needs nothing" but the gears occasionally clunk in when you take off in first, that would be the gears seating in since I've replaced the clutch and adjusted the shift linkage to spec (shifts very well for a tuber actually). Prolly the fairly common worn second gear dogs I've read of others here having experienced. (Message edited by littlebuggles on June 13, 2013) |

Click on my profile for details. The end. (You can see I got sloppy with the vinyl alignment on the tail as it's kinda wonky... I always figured I'd fix it when it got to be time to paint it again...) |

Closed the deal on the XB last Friday, so I had this out for a good ride with my daughter, 40+ miles of canyon and around town riding. Good bike. While I started this thread saying I'd keep whichever bike I didn't sell first, I think I'm okay with moving forward with the sale of this bike too. I need to replace the exhaust manifold gaskets, they are leaking... screaming eagle thin gaskets don't work on this bike. Head bearings may be going too... they have 25 thousand miles on them. I've got another set, I just need to figure a way to block up the front end, the rest of that job is easy. |
