Just an FYI, if I make it down sunday I will be riding my ninja and not either of my XB's. They are both snugly packed away and secured for travel. Since the ninja is being relegated to the truck bed since I also can't seem to get people that say they are bringing the check tomorrow to show up I guess its going to get abused. Who knows maybe I will keep the damn thing after all (3 people in 3 weeks no show...2 of them after confirming with their banks about the transactions for loan purposes) |

Mike, sorry to hear about the ninja sale problems. Brian, Sam's sounds good, I'll hook up with Al, and meet you guys there. I'm still breaking in the S2, sure wish I could just snap my fingers and it would be ready to haul ass. he he he The S1 will do though. Ben, with your cam, maybe you can run up ahead of the group and get some pics of them coming by. Sounds good, eh? M1combat, You going to be able to make it? See you guys there! edited by bartimus on February 13, 2004 |

Belookin, If it's a FI bike, and its fouling the plugs, check the temp sensors (cyl head temp for sure) and the O2 sensor. I've had both go out (at different times) causing massive plug fouling on my S3T. Oh, and a side note - if you are running the PC with the three wire O2 sensor, you won't receive any error code on the ECM, even if the O2 sensor is bad. edited by 02BuellS3T on February 13, 2004 |

How long does it take to get to Tucson from Prescott? If we need to meet at noon I think I can make it. We're still talking Sunday yes? Wow, 330 miles, do a ride, 330 miles back... I may take up that offer of sleeping on your floor if Sunday night will work Art. I could ride back Monday. I can't ride down Saturday as I'll be lavishing attention upon the girlfriend... |

Hi guys, The superbowl was great as was the chance to meet some fellow local Buelligans. I thought we were on the endangered list for awhile. I would LOVE to ride with you all on Sunday but the S3 is still down. Bartimus, I don't suppose you have and extra ride I could borrow? Art..... |

Thanks Brian, I wasn't sure of the directions, I'll be tagging along with Al to find the way. He knows where he's going for once. (he he he) By the way AL, nice use of the SMILEY'S!!! ART, My S2 is in the break in stage so I'm not riding it much, certainly not for a brisk ride up a mountain. I'll be on the S1, I don't think I can help you with a bike, my Honda is up in Phoenix. Have you checked the resistance readings on your stator and regulator yet? M1Combat, Look forward to meeting/riding with you. What year is your 750? I used to collect the old SOHC 750's. Have a couple in my stable. Anyone up in Phoenix going to make it??? |

It's an '82. It's the 750F-SS model. It has a four to one Kerker on it and sounds quite nice if I do say so myself. Rev's out at about 11K. I hear the CB900 was the bike to have that year. |

Someone needs to cut Al off already! We're all getting a touch giddy about this ride Sunday. Is it because we'll have a big group? Or maybe because the weather is going to FINALLY cooperate? No more magnet here! Either way...I see Al's point.... vroooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmm x 2! |

M1combat, I have a '69 CB750 first year with the sand cast motor, and a '72, '74, CB750K's, a '77CB750F supersport, and a '78 CB750A automatic. I was into them pretty heavy in the late 70's before I started riding Harley's. I liked the simplicity of the SOHC and never got into the DOHC because of the bucket shim adjustments. I rarely sell my bikes though, so they are still cluttering my garage back home. LOL Along with many of my other "toys" Brian, I think AL is always giddy. But that's not a bad thing. He's just a big kid like the rest of us. AL, give me a yell if you want to go for a quicky and down a few this afternoon. I'll be around.
