Wanted to get some opinions on aftermarket seats that others have tried. I see Corbin and Sargent will do it, a co-worker had Sargent do his Triumph Tiger 1050 seat, big improvement, obviously different bike. I know you used to be able to get a thicker one from "your local friendly Harley Davidson dealer". Any other company recommendations? |

I've got a baldwin on mine. Haven't done a really long ride on it, but it feels nice. Fits nice too since it is made with the original pan. Only downside I see is that it raised me up on the bike a bit. If you have a hard time touching the ground it will only amplify the problem. |

Been riding on a Corbin for over three years now. I've done many 300 mile days and my butt doesn't feel too bad at the end. Wouldn't care to do many back to back 300/days. I feel more down in the bike on it. It's flatter than the stock seat. I have a Buell cushion seat. It's similar to stock in shape. It's thicker and cushier though. Definitely notice the thickness. Feels like I'm more on top of the bike than in it. This weekend will be doing 250 miles days. |

I have two separate seats. One is from Seat Concepts which is about a half inch taller then the stock seat and cost about $150. and the other is the Saddlemen’s Gel seat that I purchased from American Sport Bike for $260. Both are well worth their price and bother are much better then the stocker. |

I have the Saddleman from American Sport Bike, great seat and a pretty good value! |

I can't speak for the 1125, but I've had a Sargent and a Corbin on my Speed Triple 1050. The Sargent is light, comfy, and gives me a good seating position. The Corbin was a piece of crap--heavy, uncomfortable, and squished my nuts into the tank. Point being that I'd recommend giving Sargent a shot, but definitely not Corbin. |

Not everyone's posterior is the same. With that said, I love my Corbin. Especially since it doesn't raise the seat height. I think it lowered the seat height about 3/4 inch. |

The standard seat is comfy enough to do over 3000miles in 2 weeks |

Loren makes a quality seat - I have a Baldwin with a gel-pad on my Uly. Every now and then I put the stock low seat on as a reality check. Z |

Keep trying to decide. Like the price and availability of the Saddleman (no core charge!), but also like the simple flat top of the Baldwin. Now that Baldwin comes standard w/ gel (was going to add it as a $ option couple years back IRC), is the Baldwin worth the extra $ over saddleman? Corbin isn't an option. Nothing against them, but i'm 6'8", so 3/4" lower is the opposite of what i want! Appreciate input and suggestions - especially if you've tried both Baldwin and Saddleman's! thx! rob |

My Corbin is good. From the negative comments here, I'm going to assume my rump isn't as sensitive as most! The Corbin has held up well and I've done quite a few 300+ mile days and even one 500 mile day. There's a lot to be said for making advance reservations on long weekends. |

I've currently have the Baldwin and its quite comfy. The seat is more of a touring seat and does not have much of an aggressive position. I'll probably be looking at corbins some time soon |

In cold weather you won't like the saddleman with that chanel in the middle in the summer time it is nice I would buy it again. Stock seat in the winter. |

If the Saddleman options were around back when I got my Baldwin, I probably would have given them a shot. I ended up with a full leather Baldwin that Loren impeccably made. Thicker than the stock seat (as I asked for since I have a 33-34" [~85 cm] inseam) so it did raise me up a nudge. Coupled with a set of 1" lowered pegs, my CR is pretty comfy. I've had it for about a year and a half now, absolutely no sun fade, and gets ridden in the rain often with no ill effects. (Message edited by jeepinbueller on May 24, 2013) |

Love my Saddleman, first thing I ordered when I totaled my 2008 was a replacement for my new bike. Replacement had a crack develop in the seatbase, and Saddleman replaced it with a new one. |
