I'm thinking of going with a taller windscreen for my S3T and was wondering if anybody has used any of the taller screens from Gustafsson plastics. I see they can make them 8" over. Currently I am using a Zero gravity and it makes too much noise. In additon to Gustafsson are there any others out there? |

I have a Gustafsson bubble, I prefer the ZG on my S3T. The other options folks like to do is get a laminar lip for their ZG screen, that's the next thing I'm going to try. So far, I haven't found a solution I like. Wear ear plugs, about the only good advice I can give. |

I have a Gustafsson +4 on my S2. I have to unzip my jacket when riding in 30 degree weather - the protected "bubble" is huge. Engine heat just doesn't escape. It's a great winter screen...but I run the stocker the other 3 seasons. |

Laminar "Lip" is another option. http://www.laminarlip.com/s3.php Another might be Palmer Products, a sponsor: http://www.palmerproducts.co.uk/ |

Another thing I've been thinking of trying is a Rifle Screen. http://rifle.com/Motorcycle-Windshield/Buell/Buell -S3-S3T-Thunderbolt-Replacement-Windshield.aspx Looks more like a more traditional touring screen, just unsure how it handles compared to the Laminar Lip, which is the most popular option for the tall folks. |

I've tried the Rifle screen and it put so much high velocity wind around my helmet that my ears popped at speed. I'm not sure of the Gustaffsson "bubble" but it appears that they make one that extends straight back up to 8" over. I also think the laminar lip is a good alternative. Thanks for the info. Brian |
