What is that cylindrical component behind the oil cooler and directly above the gear shift linkage? It's not on mine, nor on any of the other ones I've seen. |

While it is required for California, you can easily add it to any 49 state bike to eliminate the lingering gas odor. |

I ride year round out here in SoCal. And enjoyed a ride on the 3rd of January; went from Sea Level to the mountains at 4500 feet, and back again in less than two hours. From sunny and 60, to snow and 38, and back again. Things/people/taxes may be crazy out here, but I freaking love the scenery and terrain. And I don't mind the little canister on the my XT. |
