Going up Friday, got one of the cheapo rooms at FWH, mountain view, for Fri. and Sat. It has two doubles so if anyone is going for both days we could share and split the cost. PM if interested. | ||

I got a taker on the room and also trying to wear out my rear tire so I can put the new one on before the 17th. Dave, does the Neptune have real food? I don't remember what the menu said. I can just picture their reaction when they see pizza boxes on the tables.  | ||

Getting closer!!! I mounted up new rubber, flushed in new clutch/brake fluid, and washed it over the weekend. Except now my battery is getting flakey.  At least the stator is still pumping out the volts... battery is an easy fix. As far as shirts... I'll be ordering them later this week or early next week, so if anyone else wants some and hasn't spoken up, now is the time! Thanks to those who offered, but I don't need the money up front. | ||

Only a few more days! Danie is not coming with me this year, we tried riding this weekend, she can do some short jaunts fine but due to some injuries she can't spend all day on the saddle. Brumbear, I'll give you a call tonight, I got my ramps, I'm going to see if I can stuff the CR and Blast in the truck. | ||

Gah, freaking TPMS sensor came loose and self-destructed inside the tire last weekend. Thanks to Frank though, I was able to source a replacement, and I just installed that. De-mounting and re-mounting a 2 week old tire is a pain in the ass, but throwing the rubber out in the hot sun in the driveway made it MUCH easier to put back on. Now I've just got to get around to that oil change I keep putting off and I'll be 100% ready... as long as nothing else goes wrong.  | ||

I am gonna go through my machine once more and give a cleaning and hope my tires hold out . I only have about 1000 miles on em but it will be 2K plus when I am done so we will see. | ||

I'm all set to go now!  Early forecast looks like decent weather for Friday, at least. 80s and sunny, but it could change to 20s and snowing by then with the way they forecast weather up here lately. | ||

Just a heads up guys, I can't print out route sheets this year - I used to be able to at the old job, but that's long gone. If you need sheets, please print your own off the website or plan on following someone else. This whole thing has really snuck up on me - so sorry for being so absent but looking forward to piling some miles on. |
