Probably been asked a thousand times but I'm a newb so bear with me. Nothing big for use around town. Be nice to hold a smart phone as opposed to a dedicated holder, maybe a sweatshirt or a library book. |

I have one from another manufacturer that is roughly the same size. It fits the tank well and is large enough for small items like wallets, glasses etc. |

I have one I can sell you. I'm out of the country right now, but I'm going to be back on Saturday and can send you a pic then. I also can look through my phone to see if I have any pics of it. Just PM me if you are interested. |

I borrowed my friend's Wolfman Rainier for a trip to TN and back. It was great and helped with the wind buffeting too. I made my own straps using nylon webbing and some eyelets. Attached it to the front airbox bolts and the bolts. http://wolfmanluggage.com/index.cfm/product/81_8/r ainier-tank-bag.cfm |

Picked it up used but real satisfied w/ my Chase-Harper bag. The original straps were lost and could not find buckles that would mate w/ the ones on the bag; e-mailed them asking to purchase some new buckles and they had me send the bag back to have to have the bastard buckles replaced with standard ones. - This was done without cost and quickly. Customer service does not get better than that. |

I have this one except it's "not" magnetic. There used to be a choice, mine is strap mounted. I like it because it's very compact, easy to remove and stow away, and has an opening in the back to run earphone wires (I don't have any Bluetooth devices). http://www.rapid-transit.com/Products/Recon11.htm |

I just picked up a Marsee 10L "Rocket Pocket". It's only been on for a couple of days (it's still snowing here) So far I am quite pleased with it. I had a marsee bag on my last bike and it held up very well. The main things I like about it: - Big enough for a few items (mainly my lunch when riding to work), but not too big - Zips off in a second with a base that stays on the bike (zipper all around) - Fits on the airbox cover and doesn't need to be removed for fueling I do really like the covered chamber at the top for smart phone, wallet, etc. but I have read that it gets hot in there when it is sunny... so we'll have to see. I'll post a photo if it stops snowing later! http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/product/13561/M arseeTankBags2 I bought mine a while back for something like $65... they do go on sale! |

I have a pretty decent magnetic tank bag left over from my old steel tanked Kawi. Anyone ever put magnets on or under the airbox cover for attaching a magnetic bag? If so, where did you get the magnets and how did you attach them? |

Dmcutter, what about going the other way? Get some 1" nylon webbing and make your own straps? |

As I recall my old Buell tank bag had Fastex type buckles and the straps were attached to the air box screws. I would have to add something to the tank bag for the straps to attach to...seems like magnets would be more sanitary. Dunno, maybe I'll just ask my wife for a new one for my birthday. |

Ive tried magnets, and large washers, and they do not give me enough magnetism to be comfortable putting things in the bag. |

I have a Bags Connection quick-lock ring and can put any bag that used it on my airbox cover. It requires drilling, but it's secure, and I can switch from a small bag to a larger one for long trips. Plus, I just pull the release on the bag, and it's out of the way for fueling. |
