I'm starting to get excited now!!! New tires ordered and bike registrations renewed today... now I just need to mount the tires up, wash the bike (it has more mud on it than my quad, the bald rear tire sure did dig in pretty deep in my front yard when it was all soft, and covered the bike in mud in the process), get some fresh brake/clutch fluid in, and I'll be set! 38 more days? | ||

hmm, just came across this ADK Rally post. Sounds reaaaally interesting. May have to schedule this instead of Americade this year. Everyone knows that Buells are more fun anyway. Anyone have an idea of how many may attend? | ||

NJ we leave outa Sussex county Friday morning with I'd say between 5 and 13 bikes just never know how many? We will meet up in Hunter NY with another 5 or 6 and roll up the backside of NY. The trip is a marathon but we stop a few times and the backroads will keep ya hopping. Then it's meet up with the NH VT and maine guys and NY staters. Last year I'd say 30-36 bikes would be a good estimate. Non Buells are welcome of course. Sat. is the smorgasbord of the event as there are will be several areas to ride to choose from. All fabulous!!!! I see your on NJ site where are you @ we have guys comming up from Philly and from Long Island to meet up in sussex perhaps we can get you into a small group to ride up with. Dave Sunday it's breakfast and ridin on home last year we did 1100 + miles in 3 days and 85% of it was backroads hoppin!!! | ||

Sounds like a ton of fun!! Especially that many Buellers! I have done Americade every year since '99 and love the riding around the ADKs (always on a different bike, never on a Buell). Did take an S1 up to Canada once. That was a very painful trip on the stock seat. Anyway, schedule permitting I would love to join this little outing. I am located in southern Morris county, close to rt. 78. | ||
