Looking good, but that front brake hose looks far too tight. Are you going to run with that disc (they eat bobbins), or get a later one? |

A local guy put new lines on his GSXR, they were too tight, he popped a wheelie and the hose was tugged, when he landed, he tried to brake but the lever came into the bars... Took a him a few days to realise what had happened, the hose looked slack when the suspension was loaded with the weight of the bike, but when the forks extended... |

Nah there is a lot of slack but it is up under the headlight windscreen area. That is a brand new hose from American Sportbike it seems kinda long to me but it fit's well.. |

The hose slack needs to be between the clamp on the bottom yolk and the caliper as that is the section that changes length with suspension movement. Running it tight in that area could result in extra laundry bills for your underwear. |

Kev, are you saying that the hose could break and splash fluid on his underpants? |

I think when the hose breaks there will certainly be some form of fluid spilt :-) |

Great bike. There is a visible gap in the flow of the yellow though. I suggest make the headlight bracket, or the triple trees and headlight bucket, yellow to match. And the lower part of the fork leg, where the brakes and axle are, make it black. Then is would be finished. |
