Pressed start, heard a 'pop', all elec died except for highbeam indicator, which glowed a very pale blue. Pulled & replaced fuses. Bike started fine, rode appx 5 min. then died - all elec, engine, blue light back on, dial needles did a full bounce (L to R). Again fiddled with the fuses, started fine. Parked, stopped, tried to restart....Go back to top ^. 07XB12Scg, Battery good..... Any ideas?? |

Check the wiring around your handlebars and steering neck - somewhere you have a short to ground near the dimmer switch wires. Were your high beams on when the indicator light lit up? If not, it's most likely near the switch. |

Yes do what Harleyelf said, I've seen the same symptoms when the main ground wire under the flyscreen breaks. |

All wires (seem) intact. Pulled 30amp out & replaced, Started fine. The Battery terminals & grounds were slightly loose (could be the problem?), tightened all and seems to be working fine. Thanks for your help. |
