1125R with Race ECM, EBR Exhaust, Race Rear shock, Traxxion Front cartridges, Brembo Master. Ready to give racing a try and am wondering what WERA classes this set-up can run in. |

Sorta - they do one race here at Miller each season, and a couple in Vegas. Being in Utah and racing with USBA, it's hard to be able to do more than one or two WERA weekends in a season. I have a WERA card, but I can't really say I race the WERA series. Money and time just don't allow me to run with the big boys as much as I'd like. I do like pitting next to Melissa Paris, though....spandex is a wonderful thing. |

Can't run Superstock with a non-stock master cylinder. |

quote:l) Steel braided or Kevlar brake lines may be used. Brake pads may be changed. Rear rotors may be modified however must still remain functional. The items above constitute the entire realm of deviation from showroom stock for Superstock classes. If it does not mention you CAN do it, you CAN NOT.

Hey hey... I have ran WERA for 4 seasons...on my 5th now. An 1125 in SS trim is legal for: A super stock A super bike B super bike Formula 1 Heavyweight Twin Super stock and Heavyweight Twin Super bike. Looks like the only thing throwing you out of HWTSB and BSB is the master cylinder. Honestly, no one will give a damn but technically its not legal. Good luck with the bike. I will be at Miller for the WERA National in a couple months. I have learned a ton building my 1125. Let me know if I can help. I was sponsored by Trackstar1.com last year. He is near SLC. Kelly is a great guy and a huge help. Tuna |

I will definitely need garage space....but so will the 5-6 bikes we are hauling down. lol It's a 31 hr drive for us through some of the most miserable states. Nebraska sucks!!! Anyway, in order to make it affordable, we haul some friends bikes as well. They either fly or drive out. and who is MP? |

Probably can't get 6 spots for you, sorry. GP garages are along hot pit, and you can fit 6 bikes in there - those usually go fast to the larger race teams. I'll probably get one of the day garages that fit 4. I may have two spaces available, PM me when it gets close to WERA weekend. Call Kamry at 435-277-8031 to reserve garage. |

Kana... Going to YCRS at MMP in May and Kelly indicated he will most likely be one of the Instructors. I'll keep your comments in mind when i meet him. I've targeted August 3 & 4 at VIR for my racing debut. I'm afraid I'll be hooked and am trying to figure out how to fund the 2014 season

General - It's over...sell your stuff and prepare for tires/entry fees. lol Congrats JDugger. I will be at NOLA later in the year with WERA. I know I raced a bunch of CMRA guys there last year. I have some great videos on youtube from that weekend. |

Kana, CMRA is racing NOLA this year, too. June 14-16, including a 6 hour endurance race and, of course, big bike sprints on Sunday. Come race with us! We are a very competitive club and the race days are very well run. The racing is very, very good. Very tight, but also very clean and very competitive. Do you race novice or expert? (I'm novice) |

You just described WERA lol. I'm pretty loyal to them. I have never heard anything unreasonable happening with WERA. The stepping stone to Pro racing IMHO. I live in Cincinnati... It's a long enough haul to race with WERA southern guys let alone Texas guys. lol COTA looks amazing though. I run Expert. I'm new to the Buell though. Ran LWT stuff the last couple of years.(SV650/650R/EX500) |

Kana, I've been running the Buells for a couple of years. I think you may have looked at my stock bike I was selling when you were in the market for yours. I've got good set-up data and such on them if you want it. You sticking with the belt or going chain? |

Kana = I'm trying to work out making Jennings in May for the CMRA there, so I get some good manly man bonding time with JD - that's not too far from you - Just sayin'. You guys are way ahead of me for seat time. First track day at MMP was last weekend, and you guessed it - high of 34, snowing the day before (thankfully cancelled). We're off to Pahrump weekend of April 6/7 for first shake down session of the year. (Message edited by Stirz007 on March 26, 2013) |

Hallett will be a blast! You going to do Friday practice and the Saturday Solo 30 as well? I think I have a team-60 partner, but if not we can do that race, too! |

The plan is to take off work Thursday, Friday and Monday. It's roughly 16-18 hours so I'll probably drag ass in to location Thursday.. bail Sunday night. I definitely want to get in some practice as I haven't been there before - nahh, on second thought I should just grid up cold and see how that goes. |

I'll probably do the Friday practice day. I don't know Hallett very well, honestly. Gonna cost me a fortune in sprint tires to do two 30-minute races saturday (Solo 30 and my half of a team-60) and 3 sprints Sunday. I have discovered soft rears... |

JD- Doug? Yea that was me if your the guy in AZ. lol Sucks that didnt work out but everything happens for a reason. I'm happy with what I have now. Just need some spares....like those wheels! lol Stirz- I'm only a weekend ahead of ya. lol Jennings is 13hrs and Hallet....hell I have no idea. lol I will be at Tally at the end of April. Where are you from? I will be at the Miller round July 27-28th. It would be really cool to get you guys and I together at a round. Share some tips/excuses and actually have more than a single 1125 rider at an event. lol |

I'm originally from Louisiana, but have lived in Utah since '95, so a semi-native by now. Hope you can make WERA weekend here - John and Chris Crump usually make it down from Calgary (both running 1125's). Chris is pretty(i.e., Expert) fast.....and a great cat to hang with. Bring it! I'm the only 1125 in the USBA series (the only other Bueller is an XB9 run by Kevin Johnson), so it's always great to have some comrades to spar with. And yes, you CAN buy beer in Utah, just not before 8 am. |

Beer....hell you can buy liquor in gas stations in Nebraska! Likely the only good thing about the wretched state. lol I remember the Canadian guys there last year on the Buells. Zoran was a hugw hep on my SV that weekend. But yes, I will be there! |
