OK guys ... and gals ... I've had saddlebags on my Blast and soft bags that sit strapped on the back seat. These have problems with dirt and rain, not to mention that the straps that hold them in place are always questionable. I need luggage to haul raingear and sometimes to haul groceries home from the store. I'm used to a Goldwing with LOTS of storage ... There are four round "things" welded to the bottom of the rear frame extension on the Blast ... what are they for ??? ... were they designed as part of a rack mounting system ??? I'd really like to find or even design a rack that would firmly mount (bolt) to the rear of my Blast to which I could attach sturdy hard cases either over the rear or as saddlebags. Any suggestions ??? |

I think this is the way to go with a Blast, but NOT cheap: http://www.ventura-mca.com/system/video.aspx |

Titusand ... thanks, but I couldn't even afford the shipping on Ventura ... that stuff comes from the other side of the globe !!! I'm thinking I might make my own similar rack though ... I have some friends who weld and fabricate stuff ... I'll post here if I come up with something. I'm currently having a saddle done by Sargent's ... I'll see about bags when I get the new saddle. |

Check out Maggie Mae's luggage set-up at whereismaggiemae.com She has some rather large side bags and had her husband make up a couple of supports so they don't slop around. |
