OK, it's not a Buell...but, time to sell my all time favorite bike. Here's to hoping my 'upgrade' raises the hairs on my back like this bike... Bike: 2007 Triumph Speed Triple Color: Roulette Green (the best handling color) Miles: 28703 I bought the bike two years ago from a gentlemen who never got the bike wet. I took it home and promptly introduced it to the world. All maintenance is up to date and all was performed by me. Oil/filter changed every 4-5k miles, all valve checks were done (like any good 1050, adjustment was never needed), coolant was flushed twice, has a recent battery, front brakes, brake fluid flush, and recently lubed rear hub bearings. I'd not hesitate to ride this bike anywhere! Upgrades: 1. Stoltec Moto tuned AK20 forks w/ 0.95 kg/mm springs. 2. Triumph Offroad Exhaust System (TORS) and matching factory mapping. 3. 3 piece Tech Specs 4. Fender eliminator 5. Smoked Buell turn signals 6. About $300 in black powdercoat to 'fix' what the factory missed. Goodbye chrome! 7. LighTech Billet/keyless gas cap 8. Rizoma handlebars 9. Heated grips 10. Bar end mirrors 11. Shorty billet levers 12. Brake light modulator 13. Voltage meter 14. Eastern Beaver 3 fuse block with room to add farkles 15. Triumph Accessory Windscreen 16. Triumph Accessory hugger 17. Stoltec Moto starter cable kit 18. Ram mounts There might be more, but my mind is tapped for the week. Tires are Pilot Road 2 rear, Pilot Road 3 front - I estimate about 3k left in the set. Current PA inspection. I've had this thing down to the dragon twice, both times down/back on the Blue Ridge. Been to Canada and commuted on it regularly. If I didn't buy another bike, it would be taking me on a 5k loop next month to the MotoGP. $6400, and I'll give you first dibs on a comlete Ventura luggage setup and a Penske rear shock.

The most fun I've had on two wheels. With the Penske on the bike, I was able to predictably slide the rear...or lift the front. What a shriek! |
