so the portion of the bag where the latch hooks onto has broken off. I guess you could describe it as the lip on the movable portion of the case--the one that drops perpendicular to the bike to load your stuff in. anyways has anyone had this issue or have any suggested repair ideas or a right side bag!! |

If it's the journey bag is a common failure you can buy the latch from hepco & becker. |

its not the latch itself its the lip that the latch attaches/hooks onto |

That's a new one...the bag "case" is one piece. Maybe fab a piece of metal and rivet it in place? Or...there's the "bungee across the seat to the other bag lid" method... |

I have a brand new one still in the unopened packaging ... $35 shipped to the continental US (I paid more than that when I bought it). I purchased two when mine broke. One for a spare, not using the Journey Bags any more so I don't need it. Also selling my bags if someone is interested make me a offer via PM. |

You can get pretty much any part from the US distributor (capitol cycle or something like that). Expect crappy service and crappier communication from them, that was my experience. |

Same here as Reepicheep on capitol cycle, waited 3 weeks for latches, but I finally got them....American Sportbike might be able to get them as well. |
