Or you could just invert the passenger pegs and use jackstands.

I'm using front and rear pitbulls. The rear is the 'swingarm' type that pitbull offers. Purchased both used and saved money.

I'm using T-Rex and haven't had any problems. Rear came with swing arm and spool attachments.

Whatever you do. Do not buy cheap stands. I made the mistake of buying a cheap set off of ebay. The bike almost fell on a kid at a bike show. I gave it to the neighbor. He doesn't have any kids, and i don't like him very much anyway. I told him they were junk. He HAD to have it for his bagger. I know I'll come home one day and see his bike tipped over in his drive way.

Got my Pitbull from Al at asb. Worth every cent!

Ok so basically a standard swingarm frame will work. I was looking at the cheap ones too. Pretty hesitant. What was so bad about them?

I've seen some very cheap ones that are incredibly flimsy and weak. I recently got this semi-cheap one: http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/4/75/38785/ ITEM/Motorsport-Products-Universal-Rear-Sport-Bike -Stand.aspx It's not even close to as solid as a pitbull, but not the worst stand I've ever seen. After a month of regular use, it's still working pretty well. Will buy a pittbull next time, but when you're on a budget, this one is OK.
