he he he, good one Mike. You seem to be spending more time in Tucson than Phoenix! OK guys, I have a big favor to ask. Anyone out there in the Tucson OR Phoenix area have a bike trailer I can borrow this weekend? I'm going up to Santa Fe, NM to pick up my S2, and my buddy up there is planning on coming down here for awhile with his S3. I can fit one bike in my truck, but two would be pushing it. If ANYONE has a trailer I can fit one bike on, that they wouldn't mind letting me borrow, Ping me, Thanks !!! Ride hard, ride free, and Ride to LEAN! | ||

Bartimus- If'n you need more tie down straps (Ancra), a canyon dancer or soft ties (Ancra), I have bunches! I even have a piece of wood with a removable wheel chock that I used in the bed of my Tacoma (when I had one). Your welcome to borrow stuff, if you need it... | ||

It was a COLD ride in this mornin'! Yes Bart, I stepped up and rode in this mornin'....at 7:30 am! My legs are now just starting to thaw out. At least it's not raining! I've got to be at this meeting tonight, but I don't know how long it'll last. I'll try my best to get over there tonight. | ||

Don, Thank you, I will check my inventory, and if I need anything will drop you a line tonight. I'll be up in Phoenix tomorrow. Do you have them short straps that just loop around the frame to attach the tiedowns to? Those are sweet. Mike, No problem, understand.  I'll be giving you a call in the morning as I get into Phoenix. My brother lives up on the northwest side also, maybe we can all do lunch after... Brian, good to see you. yea, I'm a wuss, I should have rode this afternoon, but I didn't think I'd get caught.  Damn, figures it'd be you!!! Even if you don't make it tonight, make sure you guys get together this weekend and go somewhere! I'll probably be the only one there tonight so ALL your ears will be burning as I talk shit to the cute little barmaid behind the bar, about y'all. I'll be back Sunday afternoon, don't know if I'll be able to squeeze in a late ride in or not. I'll have my buddy and his wife with me from Santa Fe, with one of their S3's. Bart I have plenty of straps and tie downs. They are all long enough to hook around the forktubes and the passenger pegs without having to worry about the hooks touching. | ||

Hey guys, I may be in your area later this month (Feb 20-23). I will know soon if my request for time off is approved. If so, I plan on doing some riding in southern Arizona that week. I will be staying near the Tucson and Sierra Vista area. I will have my S3T with me and looking to ride. Got to get away from this snow/ice we have here in Missouri. | ||

Hey Bart, Missed ya today. Flew the curves with some GXERS down in Sonoita. Had lunch at the restuarant we went to last week. Nice day today-lil cold-but not bad. Clutch is slipping badly in 5th gear. Going to order a stronger spring this week and see if that helps. Seem to slip in 5th under hard acceleration. Call me when yu get home. Al | ||

Hey Bart and Al-let me know if you guys take a spin this afternoon. I rode in this morning and the afternoon is looking sweet! I could probably sneek out around 3-3:30ish. I up on Oracle Rd near Ina, so just tell me where to be and I'll try to hook up with for a quickie or maybe happy hour. M1- We got some waiting for ya. Being Valentine's on Saturday...(I know I whipped!) maybe these guys can plan something. I'm trying to available for a Sunday ride. Any input Tucson boys? |
