I asked that very question for a customer. Here's the answer from TM:

Then put a battery charger on the bike the night before and keep it on while we try to connect to the bike. To do this the bikes needs to be connected to a pc that is connected to the internet. Or send us the ECM and we send it back. Hope this works

OK...Spoke with someone at EBR concerning using these stacks in combination with their ECM. EBR's ECMs are pre-loaded with a tune for a bike that has a hi flow (K&N) air filter and the given exhaust that it was advertised for. They haven't done any testing with velocity stacks in conjunction with their ECM so he was hesitant to say for sure what the effect would be without proper testing and knowing a little more about the stacks dimensionally. He suspected that it may change the characteristic of the power band slightly. He compared it to putting a slip-on pipe or a K&N filter on your bike on it's own without a proper tune...It will change the characteristic but it won't likely be as optimal as a custom tune for your exact setup. He felt pretty strongly that the stacks wouldn't lean it out to the point of damaging your engine (but of course wouldn't guarantee it w/o testing). His recommendation was to at least do some before and after baseline testing to to see the effects of the stacks to HP and fuel mixture. He didn't think that EBR would be willing/able to create pre-programmed ECMs for every exhaust combination with and without stacks considering all the other development that they are doing with their production and race efforts and the small number of 1125s in the grand scheme of things. He did say that he may be able to do the baseline dyno tests if he could borrow the stacks to do so, but of course he would have to get approval for this and it could be a while for him to get a free dyno so no promises there. I would want to clear this with TM or let them handle it directly as the stacks are their design. Of course, if you have the fully programmable EBR ECM you could make whatever adjustments you would like by dyno tuning. I hope this helps. I will update you if anything else develops on my end.
