On a ride today I watched two old 4 cylinder,2 stroke Suzuki race bikes race each other numerous times. Both bikes had a major problem keeping the front end down.Me and an R6 rode behind. Coming on a 3 lane empty road, I saw the R6 was going to get in the next round. Second gear punch, the 1125 was gone. Took it to redline in 4th gear (didn't look at speed),and when I shut it down it went into the worst TANK SLAPPER I've ever been in. Guys behind me said the bike left the ground more than once. Not fun. Had one of my other 1125's have a minor one at about 135 once, Had this one over 160 a few times and it was solid, but has over 20'000 miles now. Anyone else had any problems? |

Do you have fairings? A bike without fairings at those speeds will lift your front putting more weight on the rear. You can add preload to stiffen up the rear shock and or lower the front a bit.. |

Maybe not enough rear rebound damping and or maybe not enough front compression damping. |

When I rode my friend's 1125CR, I noticed right away that bike is easy to wheelie than my R. A few times when I gave it WOT coming over a rise on the road and the front end got light, it would go into a very minor wiggle at the front end when I backed off the throttle. |
