I notice you have 2 Blasts. I've noticed a real lack of Blasts at HC the last several years (except for the Blast/XB/Ducati from MN). |

HC 2013, I'm in. One S3T from the East Coast committed. |

Can I imagine that we will be meeting at the Buell plant on Thursday May 30th at around 10am? |

Dale, I know peeps like to coordinate HC with the AMA races in Elkhart Lake. Is that how you came up with May 30? What would HC be without hanging in the parking lot? |

Milt, Yes, thats how I came up with the date. That's pretty much how we have been doing the HC since I've been going to it. It's something that I look forward to! |

I'm in. Only a couple hours away in Aurora, IL. Think I'll ride the S2. Couple bud's may come along...they don't have Buell's, but that's ok-I got extra's! |

Bump. I can think of a dozen long time Buellers who live within 30 minutes of East Troy. |

Doesn't seem to be much interest in HC 2013. Last couple of years there was all sorts of interest. Not this year. What gives? (Message edited by daleg on February 16, 2013) |

I'm not sure what's up. It is a little early yet - I think we started talking about HC2012 about this time last year. Several things might help things along:
- Someone should take volunteer to lead the HC effort. I did it last year, with help from quite a few people.
- Encourage people to toss ideas out there, not that Buellers really need any structured activities to keep busy...
- Chatter, chatter, chatter

I'm new to buells and I can't wait to go to homecoming! Picked up my x1w last month and I can't stop taking in all the buell info and history I can. Can't remember the last thing I obsessed so much about. Is that normal? Wife thinks I spend more time with the buell than her... and I have yet to ride it... Lousy Wisconsin winter |

Not to worry. This pathology is common to most Buell owners. The obsession sometimes starts with the purchase of a 11 year old motorcycle, made by a defunct manufacturer, in the dead of winter. So, welcome to the madness, Mike. (Message edited by milt on February 17, 2013) |

Thanks Milt, thought maybe there was something wrong with me. Guess it came with the bike. This site is a awesome source of information but one could spend way too much time here... Is homecoming usually a all weekend event? |

Usually we get together in East Troy on Thursday. Many head up to the AMA races in Elkhart Lake on Saturday and Sunday. Others hang around East Troy. East Troy has a nice resort that's usually almost vacant at that time of year and a comfortable campground that's popular with the Homecoming crowd. Several years ago, we went to Blackhawk Farms track. In my experience, there's always a factory visit. Unless the weather sucks, folks ride around, hang out at Gus' drive in... Joyous anarchy at its best. |

http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=4062&post=2307916#POST2307916 There's another thread for HC2013 that just started. My guess is that that will be the more active one..... |

I think we are focused on getting our bikes ready for better weather. Im sure there is a lot of interest in this and its sad that a simple email from the forum moderators cant be sent out to notify people. I think that is a must, I could have made last years too if I would have known about it before it was too late. Is it even advertised anywhere here? Not trying to beat up on the moderators but why don't you people promote these ? Little Sweden is too far away for me to put into the schedule . |

So,,, Is the schedule for Thursday and Friday (from the other thread) still in place? Is EBR expecting the group on Friday? I don't know if it's been mentioned, but Hal's is an EBR dealer. Also, If needed, I have a shop with equipment/parts if someone has a problem and needs a place to work on their bike. |
