I am need of some help to finish up my X1 project and would love to find it here. I have been working on my bike now for a couple of years. Hotshoe Customs in Oklahoma helped me with all the fab and painting. It took me a long time with scheduling and saving for parts to finally get the project to wrap up. Were I am at now is that I have modified the engine and desperately need a new map. Below I have posted the exact mods added. I believe there is a race ECM on it. The lettering was worn off so I am not sure the ECM model. New Engine Upgrades: Screamin Eagle .536 Cams Revolution Performance 1250 Big Bore Kit ..Nallin Nicasil lined aluminum cylinders ..Thunderstorm pistons (10.5:1 CR) Revolution Performance Stage-2 Thunderstorm Heads XB Rocker Covers Force Winder Intake D&D Full Race Exhaust What I would like to know is if anyone has a map that I could get off them with the specs above? I plan to take it to a performance shop to have it put on a dyno, but I am in the process of moving and do not have time or the money to ship it off to someone right now. Does anyone know the exact reason I would not want to run the bike without updating the ECM? I know there is a reason, I just wanted to know why. Next, I am looking for the breather catch can that was on the beautiful S1 that floated around BadWeb a month or so ago. I posted the pic of the setup below, does anyone know where I can get it or something similar?

Looking great man! I've got no maps for you, just a big thumbs up! Can't wait to see more detailed pics to show off all of the little things you've added too. |

Sean ,it's looking good! But i think the pic you posted is the shock adjuster that is mounted there. http://blog.ameereehal.com/2011/01/1996-buell-s1-lightning/ For a catch can like that: http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/webshop/artikel.asp?guid=YXHFSC&aid=1903&cid=5365&s=&a=&aname=TM_Oil_Catch_Can_Tube_Buell_XR1200_and_Sportster Or some custom one like this:

Mees: Now that you said that, it does look like the reservoir. Thanks! Cyclone: Thanks for the idea. I figured I would try the ECM first and if that did not workout, I could go forward as you suggested. Wilson, Zen, and Lt, thanks. Here is another pic of the other side. Ignore the belt tension. I will loosen it before I ride it. It was just for show.
