These pictures are from the Trans Labrador Highway that runs from Labrador to Quebec on the mainland part of Canada. Labrador is the mainland part of "Newfoundland and Labrador"

Great Snowmobile weather though!!!!! That does not reflect our weather over on the coast where presently we have about 3-4 feet of snow kicking around. The snow here on the island will be gone by mid-April and you can actually get some riding days in at the end of March.

LOL... Spidey, you're bitching about a few inches of snow? I was bitching about the RAIN this morning. See, now I really feel like a California stereotype. I wouldn't know what to do with snow. lol... |

HA HA HA, nice pics Newfie, reminds me of my childhood in Quebec. Glad I decided to move to Arizona. It's a frigid 60 degrees outside, i'd better go for a ride before it gets any colder... |

Newfie, this is the best we can do down here in Tucson, Arizona... I know, nothing compared to up there. Of course, we can ride in this stuff! Our bad season is the summer when it hits 115 degrees. But for now, this is Riding time!!! |

Newfie, About snowmobiling on that much snow... Isn't that Cat excavator parked on the road? Does that count? Anytime I try to do the off trail thing I always end up digging the sled out. |

Swampy - I grew up in Alaska... Just DON'T STOP. It looks to me like the excavator is parked on the deep snow in a few of those shots. |

Swampy, The John Deere Excavator in picture #2 up above is actually parked on top of the snow, just look at the snowblower down below. Picture #3 shows the snowblower down below on the road blowing the snow up and over behind the excavator.

How long does it take to melt? What about around houses, is the snow like that everywhere or just the drifts? I have seen snow in the U. P. in May but its under trees and in the shady areas. |
