STUPID move on Suzuki's part. So now he gets to play "Rolling Chicane" in Texas, California and Indianapolis? |

They replaced him with Martin Cardenas. I am guessing you won't be hearing Martin complaining and whining like the previous rider. Obviously they couldn't wait to get rid of him after his contract was up. Has to be a reason. His comeback ride to win last year was great though. |

But does Martin have "the stuff" to push Hayes?? Or is Hayes only competition going to be from "the other Josh?" That's the question. Young had the potential to challenge until Hayes amped up his game. After that, NO ONE was close. |

Martin finished third in points the 1 year he was in Superbike behind Hayes and Young on a lesser bike than the one he will have at Yosh. I am looking forward to it. I am surprised that someone like your dreaded Honda or Kawasaki didn't put a team together to get Young a ride. As much as I don't care for him he is still talented and SHOULD have a ride no doubt. |

I can't believe Young couldn't find a ride either. You've got to be kidding me! It's like the AMA version of Max Biaggi when Honda blacklisted him from MotoGP. He took a year off, and came back and OWNED World Superbike. Let's hope Blake has similar luck. |

Jaime, To what Blake said in his interview with RRW regarding riding the Attack bike for the US rounds was Yosh let him go late in the game and he didn't get enough time to find a ride. Sucks would loved to see him ride. |

Okay, so it's not EXACTLY like Biaggi's situation, then. Should've known Suzuki wouldn't be nearly as vindictive as Honda. |

looking at this years superbike schedule, there are 2 race locations yet to be confirmed, and i see that neither NOLA or Miami (from last year) are on the schedule. Hoping they go to NOLA again b/c that was a great road trip from Austin |

hold on your horses you can't compare Young to Biaggi. Biaggi was doing motgo GP. he went a step down when he moved to SBK. Young has not won the tile of AMA. big difference. Young could not beat Mladin |

you can't compare Young to Biaggi. Biaggi was also sacked or banned from pretty much every factory MotoGP team because of his 'attitude' over the years, which pretty much forced his move to WSBK from MotoGP as nobody would employ him there any longer. He tempered his attitude once he got the number one slot at Aprilia, but didn't win many friends in his first couple of seasons with Sterigarda Ducati or Alstare Suzuki. I don't think Young has displayed the same attitude over the years and his situation is a bit different to Max's. |

Just find it ODD that Suzuki would sack their winningiest rider since Mat Mladin. There's more to this story than meets the eye. |

Hate to say it Jaime but he had a poor season last year. I really think Cardenas is going to up the ante this year. The young man is talented. |

He came in SECOND. If that's your definition of a poor season, then the rest of the grid should be let go too. |

http://www.amaproracing.com/rr/events/standings.cf m?class=sb&c=sb&year=2012 Taking Hayes and his LUDICROUS season out of the picture, Blake scored three times as many wins as the next in line. There was 112 points difference between him and Roger Hayden (third place). If Blake Young had a poor season, everyone else just plain flat out SUCKED. |

He had the bike and the you'd think the talent but he couldn't bring it to Hayes. Yosh is going to take a gamble on Cardenas which comes out the victor in Sportbike and thats a competitive class. The racing is much much closer. Fact is Yosh won't pay for 2 riders like they did. Money just isn't there that it seems. Chris Clark like last year brought money to Yosh to ride with them. I think Young will be back next year. |

He had PLENTY of talent... but Hayes put together a season NO ONE in any other series could even DREAM about matching. http://moto-racing.speedtv.com/article/moto-2012-r ider-of-the-year-josh-hayes/ Once you took Hayes out of the picture, the races all were pretty close... but they were all racing for second and third place unless Hayes made a mistake. It happened, but not often enough. |

Like suzuki letting him know he was let go late in the game. This is write up is late also. But I agree with it. |

Suzuki really hosed Blake by letting him go too late. Pretty unforgivable considering his loyalty and results for them. They knew very well that it would likely leave him without a quality ride, which of course prevents them from being embarassed by having him beat them next year. The article also is wrong in that it mentions teams who already have all the slots filled as though they didn't. Contracts were likely already in place for riders on every existing team. We know KTM already filled the second slot, for example, yet the writer mentions that as a possibility. Probably trying to make Suzuki not look so bad. |

Maybe I'm wrong but I think Suzuki is so used to being the team to beat that now that they aren't they are scrambling to get back to the where they were. I think Blake could have done it.... not saying Cardenas can't. Blake I think had a mental thing going on last year and he couldn't shake it. When Blake is on his game hes unstoppable. |

With a quality ride especially where he doesn't have to do all the development he could probably beat anything Suzuki put out this coming year. Lots of face would be lost. |

They announced your name and mine on the show. I exchanged a couple of emails with them before the show explaining that I had inside info and give the shirt to someone else, but they said it didn't matter. |

Well there was speculation that Larry Pegram was going to ride a Ducati but there is stronger Rumor that he is indeed going to be riding an R1 with Foremost Insurance sponsorship this year. Thing is .... who is the second rider. Larry at the end of the season said on TV after the last race he was trying to work a deal for a second rider..... who could it be or will it be?? |

I nominate Blake Young #79 Larry's repeatedly said that he was up for working with a talented, younger rider - allowing Worm to back outta racing full-time & run his team these R-1s had better be full-on Graves bikes or it's a total waste |
