I'm looking to be replace a bunch of bolts on the bike and was wondering where you can buy single 12.9 metric hex cap socket bolts on the net? |

You might try McMaster... You looking for a spare for the main drive pulley? That's the only one of those I know. |

Thanx guys. Just like the black bolts. I'm exchanging all the bolts for black ones for my blasphemy project except on the engine. |

Is there a specific reason you are insisting on 12.9? Grade 8, or even grade 5 (stainless/Ti), is likely sufficient. Where are you using them? |

Jdugger: i just like to keep black bolts all around and since the subframe and shock bolts are high tensile ones and are quite visible i will just go with 12.9. |

Andros, In your situation, the question is not really one of grade, but finish. Black Oxide finish is available in several grades of bolt, and I will assure you, a Grade 8 bolt is sufficient for all aspects of the 1125r chassis. If you don't mind ordering from the United States, McMaster Carr offers what you are looking for in grade 12.9, though: http://www.mcmaster.com/#socket-head-cap-screws/=l 5a0mp I am racing a chassis using mostly Grade 5 Titanium and Stainless fasteners, and though I do take the chassis apart a couple of times a year to inspect, I have not found any bolts with stretched threads or compromises. |

Jdugger: grade 5 ti is equivalent to grade 8 stainless steel right. So you think its safe to replace the shock bolts with titanium? |

Andros, Ti and SS bolts will usually be Grade 5. A grade 8 or 12.9 bolt will generally be hardened steel. I am using Ti Grade 5 bolts all over the place without issue, including on the subframe and shock linkages. |
