Sorry I kicked you in a soft spot. But seriously... Stop being an attention ••••• or spill the beans. I couldn't care less either way for myself as I'm kinda the patient type, but it just kinda chaps my hide a little seeing grown men operating with a clique mentality. We all dealt with enough of that BS in high school. If you're not allowed to talk about a subject you don't go around beating around the bush just so someone on some web forum off in a dark corner of the internet will think you've got the inside story. If you do... that's great. I like to have inside info myself too... but only because I like to know, not to go around the internet trying to prove to anyone else that I know more than they do. M1, First of all at my age I don't have to prove anything to anybody and you have no way of knowing what my motives are. So you will know, my motive is only to allow others here to also have the feeling of being in the know, without me totally "spilling the beans" . All they have to do is read between the lines. I know that the Buell fans here are anxious to hear what is going on in AMA racing for the coming season. | ||

Other motivations for my posting here is that as a former race sponsor and tuner I have huge respect for Erik Buell and what he has accomplished against the odds. I was pretty active in the AMA roadracing scene back in the day that Erik was just getting started with the Buells. I was also involved with Cory West getting his start in racing both as a sponsor and a tuner. I watched him grow up and have always been a fan of his even before he started racing. He is a fine young man and was always mature beyond his years as a kid. 1982 I helped sponsor Marvin West in AMA Superbike  1983 and 1984, I built, tuned and sponsored Marvin on a BMW in AMA BOTT and Superbike  1986, my Moto Guzzi at Daytona with Marvin placed 6 th in BOTT and was one of only 3 twins to qualify for the 200.  2011, One of the happiest days of my life, Cory West takes 2nd in the Daytona 200.  | ||

Well if you come I'll have to say hello. I live here in Wisconsin..... Racine to be exact. Never really thought about how many of some of the best teams call Wisconsin home base. Vesrah is 15 minutes from my house....EBR is about 35 min. as well as Jordans team both in East Troy. And then of coarse HMC/KTM in stationed here. Kinda neat.} | ||

Usually everything is settled and known by now, but the poor economy has made sponsorships hard to come by and teams want their sponsorships firmed up before announcing plans. That is also why many riders are without a ride. As always it is about money. | ||

I'd hate to say this but I think it's possible that the 1190 needs an angry rider. Maybe they will compliment each other well. I'm sure Erik has instilled what he expects out of Mr. Yates, both riding and attitude wise. Can't wait to see Aaron flog it!! | ||

If angry equals Aggressive I say Danny did that just fine last year and I WISH he was still riding for EBR. It did seem that when the tires lasted danny had the edge on Geoff. Two completely different riding styles but good for development. | ||

Although EBR has not officially announced Yates, it is now pretty well known. I am guessing official announcement should happen today or tomorrow, since I know that RSRACRAFTERS wanted to wait until EBR made their announcement before revealing their second rider. That should happen on Nextmotochampion Thursday evening. | ||
